After going to 120 Tremont st no one was there, then to 139 Tremont st, no one was there, then was informed to go to Park st church. Where we waited until they arrived. We decided to end tour after Grave Yard.

The freedom trail itself ia great. Our tour guide Neil was a wealth of knowledge BUT he didnt speak to his audience well. We had a lot of kids/teens and they were lost. He bounced around too much with his information and gave way too much information that was not family oriented or geared toward this group. If we were history buffs great but we weren't. In addition, we spent lots of time at certain places and didnt spend any time at other places that was described in the tour. Our group size was nice and small with only 14 people so that was great and Neil did have so much knowledge it just didnt flow well, was hard to follow because our lack of prior knowledge and age of guests. In the future the guides need to speak more general, give cool information and tips but know the audience. It shouldn't be a graduate level History lesson when the average age of tourists is under 20. Neil is wonderful and amazing if you know the story/histroy of Freedom Trail but for our group specifically the kids were lost but the adults enjoyed.
