This tour guide was not very good. his last name was poope. he kept throwing in things about getting his instagram numbers up and his "humor" was degrading himself.... over and over and over. We had 10 different tour guides on our trip and most of my family ranked him in the bottom 3 or 4. The stops on the tour were fine. We probably could have done better if we just did the audio tour.

It was interesting to get a refresher on Paul Revere, Samuel Adams, John Hancock, and Benjamin Franklin. We also learned about the Old State House, walked through the Boston Commons and The Granary Burying Ground. Katherine was a great tour guide and it was a very informative tour!

The tour was nice. We took this tour because it was shorter than the 2.5 hour tour. We went with our toddler so we were a little intimidated by the longer tours. Because of its shortened length, I felt it was a little surface level. The guide stuck to the script. There wasn’t a lot of information that you couldn’t get from a basic google search. I wish that there was a little more substance and that the guide was a bit more conversational. Outside of that, I feel we hit all the highlights. I enjoyed walking through the city and felt I got to see most of what I wanted to. I liked that our guide was in costume. It definitely helped to set the mood!
