Mossy Forest requires 4x4 land rover (ticket not included).
Important Note Traffic congestion in Cameron Highlands is very common on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and it becomes even heavier during public holidays. In the event of severe traffic jams, some attractions may need to be skipped or replaced in order to keep the tour on schedule.
Important notice: Mossy Forest is temporarily closed for safety reasons due to a landslide. We will try to adjust the itinerary to include either Coral Hill or Kea Market instead. If you have any other preferred option, please let us know.

Mossy Forest

Cool Climate: The high-altitude atmosphere provides a refreshing escape from the heat, often enveloped in mist. Nature Walks: Guided tours give insight into the unique ecosystem, with opportunities to see pitcher plants, medicinal herbs, and exotic insects. Instagram-worthy: Every corner is photogenic; the eerie, mystical vibe draws nature lovers and photographers alike. remark: Visitors typically spend around 1 hour at Mossy Forest. The journey up is done by 4x4 vehicle, which takes about 30 minutes. The return trip down also takes 30 minutes, with opportunities to stop and take photos along the way

5.00We organised this day tour whilst on our honeymoon, we had the most amazing private tour with Mr Gobin from Ipoh, he was knowledgeable, easy to talk too and made for great conversation, experienced on the winding roads and super accommodating for us, he truly went above and beyond to ensure we had the most memorable day and to see all the main attractions, 100/10 would recommend!!! My only comment is to ensure you bring cash for the activities that are excluded :)

5.00We had Mr. Gobin as our guide and driver and he was fantastic throughout. Knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful. Made the day a very easy one despite the constant rain. He offered guidance and suggestions where needed and was very punctual. I highly recommend to go with this group and with him!

5.00We did this tour in October 2025, and it was the perfect way to see the Cameron Highlands while staying in Ipoh. Our guide, Mr. Gobin, was wonderful - very knowledgeable, friendly, and a safe driver (which is so important on those winding mountain roads!). He also took lots of great photos for us throughout the day, which was a nice touch. The highlights for us were the tea plantations and the Mossy Forest - the forest, especially, was fascinating and unlike anything we’d seen before, though it did take longer than expected. We opted for the buggy ride at the Cameron Bharat Estate, but in hindsight, we would have just walked around instead. We also made a quick stop at Cactus Valley, which was free and fine for a short visit, but something we could have skipped. The day was long but well-paced, and communication around pickup and drop-off was excellent. We didn’t feel rushed, but we definitely saw a lot and were ready to rest by the end! Since it’s a private tour, we felt it was good value for the money. Admission fees aren’t included, which is actually nice if you’d like to skip certain stops - though it would have been helpful to have a rough idea of costs ahead of time. Overall, we’d absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting to experience Cameron Highlands in a single day. Perfect for couples or nature lovers who appreciate a scenic, informative, and well-organized day trip.

5.00We were collected from our hotel in Ipoh as per time booked. A good welcome by Gobin who was extremely informative and welcoming. He gave us options and suggestions for every visit stop point. The best way to experience Cameron Highlands by day trip if you are staying in Ipoh. Good to go week days if possible as weekends are busy.

5.00This tour was amazing. The Mossy Forest and tea plantations are stunning beautiful and are a must see! Our guide, Mr Gobin, was brilliant. He was so knowledgeable and gave so many tips! He let us dictate the day and allowed us took take our time at each location. He found us a restaurant that had vegetarian options and when we missed a stop due to extreme traffic, he gave us a tour of Ipoh to make up for it. He even made a detour to the cave temples on the way home. Highly recommend this tour to anyone in the area.

5.00Had a great time visiting the Cameron Highlands!! My driver Nathan was very friendly and the driving was super smooth. He was very flexible with the specific activities I wanted to do, took me to a tasty, cheap spot for lunch and dropped me off exactly where I wanted. The Highlands themselves were stunning, with the Mossy Forest being a particular highlight. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit who doesn't have a car
