I gave 4 star only because the company that ran this trip was very DISORGANIZED! I was supposed to get an email stating exactly where and what time to meet for the day of the trip. I never got one. So after waiting all day, the day before the trip, I tried to call the company but the numbers were not working. Left two email messages that never answered. Finally I had my hotel concierge call the tour company for me. Someone answered and said they would send the info via WhatsApp. Then much later I get a message when and where the meeting place will be in the evening. Really??? I did not like this experience of having to chase the company! I have been looking forward to seeing Caminito Del Rey and was upset at the prospect of missing it! When we showed up to the meeting spot, it was the office of Naturanda who seems to own a lot of tours in the area. The tour itself went fine. The guide leading up to Caminito Del Rey, Catherine, was very nice and informative. Another guide who takes you through the walk on Carminito Del Rey was simply awesome! You are extremely lucky if you get Stefano! He was so good and the best guide ever! Stefano, if you are reading this, you deserve a raise! You were fun, very knowledgeable, made sure everyone was comfortable, and especially your attentiveness towards the hiker who was afraid of heights was absolutely exceptional! Overall a mixed experience!

The walk was very well lead by a very competent guide and was worth doing; scenery and location outstanding. The guide was employed by Caminito del Rey and not Andalasur. The travel, organised by Andalasur was incompetent. The start time was changed from 7:45am to 9:45am with about 24 hours notice and we stopped in a town called Orsuna for more than 1 hour. We were not told about this until we boarded the bus. The driver got lost 3 times, twice on the way out and once on the way back. What should have been a 7 hour day turned out to be a 12 hour day. Totally unacceptable and I will be contacting the operator for a refund.

Breathtaking experience. This is a long journey on the coach, in my opinion, well worth it. I would not like to do this experience when it is very hot. This is reviewed at the end of March 24C temperature. There are simple toilets at the start and end of this walk, which takes approximately 3 hours with a guide pointing out items of interest. Numbers are controlled over the highest bridge , you just have to wait your turn, There was also a guide near the bridge taking photos of you just in front of the bridge (free) using your device. the photos I saw were a great memento. The final bridge is high in the gorge and may not suit people with a fear of heights as it also sways a little. I loved this as did the rest on our coach party, but keep in mind if you are phobic of heights you will find this unnerving or too much for you.

A great adventure and would recommend it to anyone looking to get out of the city for the day. The guides are very good and is not as scary as the pictures make it seem.
