What To Expect
Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas
A fortress in the city of Cartagena, the castle was built in 1639 and is located on the Hill of San Lázaro.
Fuerte de San Sebastian del Pastelillo
On the island of Manga is the Fort of San Sebastian del Pastelillo, which has now become the location of the famous Club de Pesca restaurant. In this place there was the fort of Boquerón, which was destroyed in 1741 by Admiral Vernon in the attack on the city of Cartagena. Together with other fortresses such as Fort San Jose and Fuerto de San Fernando , it controlled the maritime traffic of the bay to prevent possible attacks. The Fort of San Sebastian del Pastelillo has 31 guns and camouflage is achieved on the ground. The name of San Sebastian comes from a Saint who was the patron of the conquerors, and Pastelillo is a military term that means like grass, therefore a castle that adapts to the terrain.

5.00The guys make it so fun. Although it is not totally 2 hours sailing, it is because it takes a while to leave and the pirate boats have to be back before others. However, it is plenty and so enjoyable. Thought it was well worth the money.

5.00We highly recommend the Pirate Ship Sunset Cruise in Cartagena! Our experience was truly above and beyond anything we could have imagined. Even before we arrived in Colombia, the team went out of their way to help us coordinate a private driver from our cruise ship directly to the boat. While this was an added cost and not included, we were incredibly grateful for it.. it gave us peace of mind knowing we’d arrive safely and on time. The night of our cruise, there were only two other guests on board, and we were pleasantly surprised (and thankful!) that the tour wasn’t canceled due to the small group. That didn’t stop the fun at all.. in fact, it made the experience feel even more special and personal! We got to dress up in pirate costumes, shoot fake cannons, and enjoy delicious cocktails while cruising during the most perfect sunset. The weather was amazing, the music was great, and the overall vibe was unbeatable. Whether the boat is full or nearly empty, this cruise would be an unforgettable experience. If you’re considering a sunset cruise in Cartagena, don’t hesitate, this one is absolutely worth it! 🏴☠️🌅

5.00Sailing on a pirate ship was different. The boat was very well maintained and the crew were all jolly ole chaps. The best part of the experience was putting on pirate's gear and shooting Roman candles from the cannon at the passing by rival pirate ships. It gave a real Jack Sparrow feeling. They even played the Pirates of the Caribbean theme song. lol.

5.00Very fun cruise! The staff were very friendly and took lots of photos of everyone. They provided pirate props for pictures and let the kids shoot fire crackers out of the cannons. It was very cute. The coastline is beautiful too. I’d highly recommend going one evening!
