Giovanna was the most loving and caring host, warmly welcoming us into her home and sharing not just her incredible cooking skills, but a heartfelt glimpse into the culture and charm of Bologna. Her passion for food and tradition shone through every moment, making the entire experience feel personal and truly special. I would wholeheartedly recommend this class to anyone looking to connect with authentic Italian cuisine and hospitality. This is a memory I will carry with me for a lifetime.

Roberta (the host) was very warm and welcoming. Masterclass was held in a cozy company of 4 people, so it was pretty much like a private class. We were offered drinks, such as water, coffee (very tasty) and wine (very tasty as well), and also different appetizers cooked by the host herself. The main thing - I finally learned how to make an actually delicious fresh pasta!! Amazing experience. Definitely recommend

Spending the day with Esther and Stefano at their lovely home was by far one of the best things we did during our trip to Italy (and we did a lot of things!). Some highlights: 1. Communication - Prior to our visit, they were fast and clear in all communications including working with us to arrange transportation from Bologna to their lovely home. Rare is the tourism world today. 2. Hospitality - This couple is magical. They took a run-down property 3 years ago and transformed it to its former glory with respect for all of the original architecture and finishes with modern touches added. The moment you walk into their home, we felt a sense of calm and love. The wine was flowing and the pasta-making class was chef's kiss. We learned a lot about Italian food, and tradition whilst making a delicious lunch complete with tiramisu for dessert. 3. Location - Majestic. The Tuscan sun was shining, the birds were chirping and as we made our way to Esther's herb garden to clip some fresh sage for our pasta I wondered, "Am I in Paradise?" Their event venue just steps away from the main house is an ideal location for a gathering. The layout takes advantage of the views, the facilities like commercial kitchen and wood fired oven along with a beautiful glass-enclosed indoor area and a large outdoor seating area makes for a spectacular special event. Wedding anyone? 4. Heart - Finally, we so appreciated Esther and Stefano's hearts. They are passionate about entertaining, good food, spectacular wine and making new friends. I don't know about other Cesarine members but these two are shining examples of people who know how to entertain and make people who arrive as complete strangers, leave at the end of the day as family. We were a group of 6 and everything was perfect. Can't say enough about this experience. I'd do it again in a heartbeat, Love you Esther and Stefano xoxoxo

We had an amazing and fun filled cooking class with Silvia, Marco and Andrea. Marco picked us up from Bologna with a short ride to their home outside of Bologna. They warmly welcomed us into their beautiful home, with a lovely garden and patio. We were taken through a great lesson in making pasta by the skilled chef Silvia, whose technique created the most delicate and tastiest pasta. Simple , quality ingredients and delicious outcomes. The highlight was meeting this lovely family and the connection over food, travel stories and the laughter shared. The bonus was that this couple have amazing music taste and we got to make pasta whilst listening to Pink Floyd. We loved every minute of our time with the family and highly recommend you booking this tour if you want to create memorable holiday experience. We are so grateful for their kindness and warmth that they received us into their home and sharing their skill and passion for good food. We came wanting to learn to make pasta but we left with a tummy full of yummy food and great wisdom shared by Silvia and Marco and Andrea and having made new friends! This is why we love travelling, the connection and perspectives shared!
