On Saturday 15 November we were able to experience a very nice tour! Our guide Tom was top, compliments. A nice, energetic man who could tell fun facts about Ghent and the local shops, without it becoming a history lesson. The tastings were great!! Very cool to see the local businesses and taste the products. We experienced our Saturday afternoon as super positive. Highly recommended! Tom, thank you! A small tip for the organization: Make it possible to give a digital tip to the guides, for example via QR code. Nowadays fewer and fewer people are walking around with physical money but often want to tip such a great guide.

Very nice tour with a nice guide. Various tastings along the way, including of course chocolates and beer. Our guide Tom knew how to tell us about Ghent with passion and led us to places we wouldn't have found otherwise. Definitely value for money, so highly recommended!

Debbie was our guide, she was wonderful! Very knowledgeable and fun! Disappointed we didn’t get to try the best fries in Ghent fried in ox fat we went somewhere else on the tour. Overall highly recommend! Cheers

Debbie was a fantastic guide. She was so friendly and fun! We got great history lessons and lots of fun facts. We enjoyed a couple of versions of frites, cheese croquettes, and masterfully-made chocolates. This was a great way to get our bearings in Gent and learn about people, customs, and architecture. I’d highly recommend booking this tour, especially on the first day or two of your trip to Gent. Thank you for a great tour, Debbie!

With our company PPT Solutions we held our annual team event this time in Ghent, Belgium. We booked Charlie's Tasting Tour to discover Ghent with our group of ci. 17 men and whether this succeeded! Our guide was called Sanne and she showed us around the historic center of Ghent, which is beautiful. She told a lot about the history of Ghent and could also convey this in a fun way. Of course she took us to various restaurants, cafes and shops. At each place, she told you more about the history of the restaurant or store, giving you a better sense of the product you were going to consume. We had delicious chocolate chocolates, savoury snacks like a cheese croquette with delicious mustard, we were served gin and a hearty beer, you name it. Everything super well arranged and organized. Of course also for the owners of the catering establishments, because many of us have bought a box of chocolates or a jar of mustard. The combination of the good food, the historical history and the fun stories and anecdotes, made this tour a resounding success. Colleagues of mine have enjoyed it immensely and were very excited about the city and the tour. I would definitely recommend both. Sanne and Charlie's Tour, thanks for the top afternoon!

During our company trip to Ghent we booked the tasting tour with part of the group. The contact beforehand was good and there was fine thinking along with us. Guide Tom has taken us to different places in the city, making stops to taste different local delicacies. It was very nice to get some explanation about the city history in addition to the tastings and explanations about the tasting.

Great guide, took us to places to try foods we probably never would have without the tour. Everything was fantastic and Emma was great.

Well-enough organised and decent content, but a little underwhelming and the only food tour we've ever done where we were hungry at the end!
