A Romantic Evening That Fell Short on the Dance Floor

2.00We took the City Cruises Boston dinner cruise for our wedding anniversary. The dining experience itself was good, the staff were attentive, the food was reasonably well prepared, and the overall atmosphere on deck was pleasant. Unfortunately, the DJ really fell flat again. This is the second time we’ve taken this cruise and the music has been lackluster both times. The dance floor stayed mostly empty all evening because the selections just didn’t fit the energy or the occasion. A stronger, more engaging music set could make a world of difference to the overall experience. It’s still a nice way to see the Boston skyline at night, but I hope City Cruises invests in improving their entertainment, it’s the only part that keeps this from being a truly exceptional evening.
