Leonidio a small town in Arcadia, Peloponnese is located 3 hours south of Athens.
It is close to the sea and surrounded by red and grey cliffs of exceptional quality and wild beauty. The traditional town still offers a pleasant way of life and is the perfect place to choose for a relaxing and/or active vacation!
Currently there are more than 1000 routes across a wide range of grades, and there is still potential for many more.

What To Expect
If you are a passionate climber, then you have to experience the striking red rock, which stands tall in Arcadia. Leonidio is considered to be the “it” place for rock climbing in Greece and the region is evolving to become one of the biggest climbing zones of Europe. The high quality of limestone leads the way for hundreds of fields and thousands of new routes. Just picture it, you can have more than you ever imagined for a truly intense experience. Field of Action: There are 1000+ routes (sectors 5a and 8b) at your disposal in the area of Leonidio and this number is continuously increasing. There are a lot of points for bouldering and if you take the ideal climate under consideration, there’s no doubt why the sectors of Leonidio keep inviting more and more climbers. Some fields are south oriented and others are north oriented, which address different wants and need. Plus, most of the rocks are located a few kilometers from the beach and are directed toward the mountain. We offer you a 4 hour lesson on the red rocks of Leonidio ... depending on your experience we choose the appropriate rock climbing route.

5.00This was such a great guided climbing experience in Leonidio! We went with a local and his son, who both have contributed to the opening of the Leonidio climbing sectors at the very beginning and who still help to keep it up! So, without them this wouldn't have been possible at all! They took very good care of us and their philosophy was safety first and no rush while climbing. The routes were perfectly selected according to our levels (bloody beginner & indoor experienced). We felt like going climbing with friends. :) Highly recommended and would always do it again!

5.00A family of five, with three strong teenagers and active parents. We wanted to climb some easy routes (5b to 6b+) in a hot August day, and Iannis and Elenis guided us to the perfect place, with shade and fresh rocks. Instructors were local and really very knowledgeable. All equipment we used was of the best quality and new or almost new. We received lots of good tips to enjoy the climbing, and everyone of us was able to test his/her abilities. Do not forget to bring your water and snack!

5.00Phantastic climbing rocks, experienced and totally cool climbing instructors (if Yannis & Jacob would have lived 3000 years ago, Troja would have fallen 10 years earlier - sorry Homer), focus on safety, great organization … was so good, that we had a second afternoon at short notice …
