This was an excellent tour of Lucca's history and historic sites, plus a complete ride around the Lucca city wall. Do not forget to bring carrots for Mario.

Wow! We loved our beautiful carriage ride through Lucca so much. Marika was so lovely and told us everything she knew about this gorgeous town. I fell in love with Mario, he was perfect. I could tell he was so loved and Marika just adores him. Such an amazing way to see the city and we will always remember this tour as a highlight for us. Thanks Marika and Mario! ❤️❤️

A terrific tour by Marika and Mario. Marika gave a wonderful tour of the history of this beautiful city and its walls. And Mario gave us a tour of all of his favorite ‘pit stops’. He seems to know very well the shop owners with a treat waiting for him! Loved this tour! Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely delightful time with Marika and her horse Luigi. Marika’s tour was so informative. We learned so much about the history of Lucca, the architecture, and the ancient city church-citizen politics. We got to see the city from on the ground and then from up on the wall. It was a wonderful relaxing fun way to see Lucca. I wish all the visitors could have this great experience. Thank you, Marika! You are terrific!

This is the 2nd time we have done this tour and this occasion was as good as the first! It is a perfect way to spend some time when in Lucca. Last time we had Luigi pulling the carriage and this time it was Mario. The horses are extremely well cared for and in excellent condition. The tour itself is so relaxing but also so informative - a perfectly lovely way to spend time. We love the fact that the horses know which shop owners will give them their treats.

This was the best tour of our 30 days in Europe. Marissa was very knowledgeable and pleasant. Mario, her horse, was well behaved. We loved seeing Mario receive his treats from a few bakeries along the route.
