Leaving Seville, we will make our way through Andalusia and arrive at our first destination on the journey, Carmona. As you walk through the ancient streets taking in the buildings, most of which are painted a stark white. You will come to understand why this historical town is nicknamed ´´ The White Village´´.
After our time in Carmona, we will move to Cordoba.
This special place contains art, ancient streets, and history from a combination of cultures. The ancient mosque features extraordinary architecture that spans eight centuries. Cordoba also contains a jewish quarter that is home to the only synagogue in Andalusia. Walk through the Andalusian patios and take a chance to enjoy the local cuisine.
When the time comes, we will board the shuttle and head back to Seville (return to Seville at approximately 19:00 hours).

While our tour guide was really fabulous and very informed the tour itself kind of wandered around and lacked direction. I would also suggest that there be 2 separate tours one in English and one in Spanish. It’s really ridiculous to have one group wandering around waiting for the guide to finish in one language only to have to then repeat the same speech in another language. It’s just inefficient.

Good way to see Cordoba and its Mezquita Cathedral. Idriss was a good guide, full of enthusiasm and historical knowledge that helped put everything we saw in context. He took very good care of all the guests. Fidel was a punctual and safe driver. Recommend to drop the Carmona stop as it didn’t add much. Prefer to have gotten to Cordoba faster and end the trip sooner. Its a long day.

This trip was a convenient way to see Cordoba without having to arrange own travel, but quite oversold in what you actually experience. Firstly, we selected 9am departure and got to pick up point with 15 minutes to spare. We didn't actually set off until 9.30am, so I felt very sorry for the people who had chosen different and earlier pick ups--they even had to swap buses. So we left late, and arrived back in Seville earlier than scheduled, too. A short stop in Carmona--a brief walk and a toilet break. A few minutes to explore would have been nice. On arrival in Cordoba, a nice walk of about 1 hour. For "Patios", read Patio, singular. We visited one very lovely Patio, but that was it, and we stood on the street for some time waiting to go in. The Synagogue being in the title of the trip definitely overhypes this--it is tiny and took a couple of minutes to view. A hasty walk around the old town was followed by some free time for lunch etc. We did our own thing, although the guide was really pushing for us all to go to her recommendation (I guess she was on commission?) Then, we met at the Mezquita for another guide to show us around. The battery was dying on the speaker, so I felt very sorry for the guide. Every few minutes, she had to restart the speaker. She was very good, but the place is so huge that reading the leaflet afterwards was very worthwhile. And that was it, back to Seville. As I say, a convenient way to get to Cordoba, but very short on detail--could have been much more. Manuela was guide--I don't blame her for trip content, I don't suppose she plans the itinerary.

Cordoba is a very beautiful, visitable city. The information was interesting and insightful. The stopover in Carmona could have been saved. Certainly historically interesting, but the one hour could have been better used for more time in Cordoba. A lot of time was wasted on organization on the ground. Too bad

Disorganization detrimental to the guide. Too much bus Waiting time, exhausting, and galloping tours to keep pace. Why did we have a different guide in the mosque cathedral? The visit would have deserved a more historical and cultural focus.
