What To Expect
Athens
We start our tour in the morning from Athens, your driver will pick you up from your hotel or appartment. The travel time is about 2,5 hours.
Tholos of Athena Pronaia
The Tholos of Delphi is among the ancient structures of the Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia in Delphi. The circular temple, a tholos, shares the immediate site with other ancient foundations of the Temple of Athena Pronaia, all located less than a mile east of the main ruins at Delphi, in the modern Greek regional unit of Phocis. The tholos is part of the Delphi UNESCO World Heritage Site.

5.00Delphi - as to be expected - was amazing! The site was bigger than I expected, and I could have easily spent several hours there. Nikos, our guide, was excellent: informative, accommodating, friendly, and hospitable. He booked us a table at a Taverna in Delphi with a stunning view. Highly recommend!! Definitely ask for Nikos!!

5.00George was FANTASTIC! It was a rainy day full of traffic and he did a great job getting us to and from our locations. My husband loved talking with George while I slept there and back. He also knew so much about the area, we learned a lot. I highly recommend doing this tour and hopefully you get George! Also he took us straight to lunch after the museum and site, which was fantastic food and a view. We will be using this service again next time with George!

5.00I had a phenomenal time exploring the Delphi museum and ruins. If you’re a fan of Greek history and mythology, this location is a must visit because of its significance. The views were breathtaking as well. You’ll stop by Arachova, a nearby winter resort town, and have an incredible lunch in the town of Delphi. This excursion is a 2-3 hour ride from Athens. George Remoundos was my driver. He was very polite, easygoing, and communicative. I appreciated his recommendations for other Greek tourist attractions, especially regarding the islands and the Peloponnese. I will definitely use him again when I return. Thank you again!

5.00This was an amazing day trip! Bill was an exceptional tour guide - full of great information, funny stories and good recommendations. Obviously Delphi archeological site and the museum were amazing, but the lunch spot he took us to was phenomenal too! Great food and view. The car was clean, Bill was a great driver had water for us, and he was a great mix of conversational and quiet when we needed it. Could not recommend this experience more.

5.00Bill, our driver, picked us up extra early so we could finish in time to board our cruise, and delivered us to the ship on time. We enjoyed Delphi and had a wonderful lunch in town before the drive back.

5.00We had a great day visiting Delphi. Alex kept the conversation flowing throughout the drive. We had a good car (sUV) and Alex’s driving was smooth- both of which were critical for us as my husband had severe sciatica issues that had led us to opt for a private tour. The tour was 9 hours long and we got to visit Delphi ( the ruins annd the museum) and pass by Arachova where we stopped for pictures and strolled through the small town for some window shopping. Alex also booked us a table at a nice restaurant with a view and gave us suggestions on what to order. We followed his suggestions and it was delicious. Overall very happy with how our day went

5.00A bucket list kind of day. Our guide, Alex, picked us up from our hotel. Was very friendly and knowledgeable. We got to learn interesting history. Stopped us at a great spot for pictures. The Temple of Apollo and Museum were amazing! Alex also booked us a table at a local tavern with a gorgeous view. Had a great time and was the perfect day excursion for our honeymoon trip. He then dropped us off at Monastiraki square so we could get LUKUMADES. Also gave us great suggestions for meals and any things to do before we leave Athens.
