The drive was extremely long, especially on the way back. The driver made the wrong turn multiple times. It was already 11PM when we got back. The bus was old and worn out, either ice cold or too hot. Sitting there for hours wasn’t great. The tour itself was rushed and I regret not booking the 2-day trip. We were mostly sitting on the bus and only stopped for pictures. I wish we could have walked around more. The guides were really nice but they only gave basic information I already knew. The lunch was great and they had vegetarian options. I think my food was even vegan. It was completely fine for the price. The organisation overall was great as well (except for the long drive). Meteora is so beautiful so I’m glad I visited but I don’t think this tour was the best option and I’d recommend spending at least 2 days.

Our guide Eva was great. Despite the blokage on the expressways due to farmers’ strike, we had a delightful time. Thanks to Eva.

It’s a long trip but definitely worth it! We are a family of 4 with two kids, 14 and 8. We were picked up in coach on time from the meeting point. Then drove to Meteora. We met our guide there. The tour started with a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. There are 6 functional monasteries at Meteora, 4 male and 2 female. Because it’s winter and the close pretty early, we had the chance to enter two of them and see the others from the outside. The briefing before each one of them was great. Our guide there was wonderful! She was accommodating, patient, and the nicest ever. The views up there were just breathtaking. It’s a long drive from and to Athens. But it’s definitely worth it. Highly recommended.

The wealth of knowledge shared in a clear and engaging way greatly enhanced our understanding of the site and made the day both meaningful and enjoyable. Special thanks as well to the courteous drivers for a safe, calm, and comfortable journey throughout the day. With appreciation, Yaffa and Dan, Israel

That was an amazing experiece to visit Meteoros with this team - our Guide Riki and two bus drivers. Stops at the right places right time, everything organized in details, just listen and enjoy. It took a long time of traveling from Athens, but it was worth it! Thank you soooo much!

Start with the only draw back, it took over 5 hours to get there, this included a restaurant stop and a snarl up of traffic leaving Athens. But once we reached the town. It was straight to a local restaurant for a Greek lunch, which was adequate. Next it was a bus trip up to the mountains, and wow, it was just astonishing. Just how did they manage to erect these monasteries on which is basically cliffs. Lots more cats on view, and many stunning stops for photo opportunities. Okay, it's a very long day, but the guides are friendly and helpful and the scenery is amazing .

I booked a day trip with this operator while in Athens and unfortunately my experience was negative from start to finish. The first reservation was impossible to make due to an official red alert from the Greek Civil Protection, which called for avoiding travel due to severe thunderstorms. Despite this, and despite simply asking to move the date, I was told that it was not possible in any way, neither to change nor to receive a voucher, because they would still carry out the tour even in adverse weather conditions. I found this attitude unprofessional and totally devoid of attention to customer safety. Deciding not to give up the visit, we rebooked (and paid for) the same tour a few days later, on a rain-free date. Again, however, the management was disappointing: there was a farmers’ strike, which had been going on for a week, of which we were not informed, despite the operator being fully aware. The roads were blocked and it took us over twice the expected time (about 7 hours with stops) to reach the destination. This huge delay drastically reduced the time for the visit, but the return time was maintained without any flexibility. The tour then became hectic, stressful and virtually impossible to enjoy, with constant pressures to move quickly. Even the lunch included was handled badly: we arrived to eat at 14:30, with just half an hour of time in a restaurant, in a hurry. There was not even time to go to the bathroom because of the queue. An absurd situation, far from the relaxing and organized experience that we were promised. In neither case did the operator show willingness, flexibility or attention to customers, nor did it offer any form of compensation for the inconvenience suffered. Overall bad experience. I am sorry to leave such a negative review, but I think it is important to report this total lack of transparency, communication and care. I would not recommend it in any way.
