• Amazing local experience in Materuni village

  I had the best time doing the Materuni day trip with Tanzalux Safaris! From the moment we arrived, the local people welcomed us with songs and big smiles. It was so beautiful and made me feel at home. The waterfall was amazing so fresh and peaceful. After that, we visited the village, and I got to try Chagga traditional food and local banana beer. It was something different but I really enjoyed it. The cooking style was interesting and very tasty. Also, they showed us how they make coffee, and we even danced and sang with them during the coffee making – it was so fun! The energy was high and full of happiness. I didn’t want the day to end. Thank you Joel for this beautiful cultural experience. I will never forget it. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Tanzania.

  We were picked up by our tour guide Elly and had great conversations with him throughout the day. He was very friendly & caring. My friend had a cold, and Elly even arranged a ginger drink with a friend at the local market to help her feel better. Thanks also to my friend John, who recommended the tour and put us in contact! We started with a hike to the Materuni Waterfall, and the nature was breathtakingly beautiful! We got wet at the waterfall, but it was totally worth it! We also had a furry hiking companion. Afterwards, we visited a coffee farm that has been passed down from generation to generation, where we learned a lot about their traditions in coffee production, sang together, and tasted the coffee. The day was rounded off with a swim in the Quemka springs. And all of this in just one day! I really enjoyed the experience and even just during the drive with Elly, I learned a lot about the culture in Arusha and other areas in the country.   We had amazing waterfall, coffee and hot springs Tour with victor . He showed us the amazing landscape of Materuni, explained things and a lot of different plants we saw and their use by locals. The waterfall is really impressive. Local lunch was excellent - besides main dishes we really enjoyed tasting the fresh fruits as well as banana beer. Traditional Coffee songs was also fun and really interesting. Swimming in the natural paradies of hot springs was perfect finish. We really recommend to do the Tour with victor

  I'm thrilled to share that I went on a safari trip in Tanzania, and I lucked out with a day trip to Materuni Waterfalls and Chemka Hot Springs with my friends. It was a truly unique trip, and I'm delighted to say we were among the first to do this excursion with Tanzalux Safaris. Our guide, Victor, had extensive knowledge and experience, sharing captivating stories about the village of Materuni. We also learned a lot about Tanzania.   My friends and I are really happy to share with the world that we visited Tanzania and had different safari experiences with other companies, but we also did a day trip with Tanzalux Safaris and it was the best part of our trip! We were lucky to be the first guests to go on a trip with Tanzalux Safaris, and honestly, we have no regrets. The team, especially Victor and Rahim, took very good care of us.   Me and my friends we were group of 5 people we had an incredible experience with Tanzalux safaris. , i loved every moment of it! I went on this trip with my friends through Tanzalux Safaris and their service was beyond amazing. They were so caring and attentive throughout. Compared to other companies we noticed along the way, Tanzalux had a unique touch from the trip planning to the little details, everything felt well thought out. The team victor and rahim was super friendly, full of positive energy, and their English was perfect. They were talkative in a fun way, very charming, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Also we met an on-site guide's they celebrate with us and sang the best African swahili song which was so loved 100% recommend this tour and Tanzalux Safaris!
