Estrella Damm Factory
At the arrival, the visitors will see the security gate (in Once de Setembre, 1). They have to wait for the guide in this place. We recommend to arrive 10 minutes before the visit starts.

5.00This tour is one and a half hours. Five euro cheaper than Central historic brewery. Clean, super modern and a knowledgeable friendly guide. The scale and precision is impressive. From the forty beers that they brew, you have five selected styles to taste at the end, well worth the effort to book.

5.00The tour was really good and one of the best brewery tours I have ever been on. An expert takes you on the tour and you can see the factory in action. As there is an expert there, you can ask any questions you may have. Only negative which was our own fault, was that we chose to do the tour on a Spanish bank holiday so the factory wasn’t in action! The beer tasting experience is definitely the best one I’ve ever had. The expert gives information about every beer before you taste it and there is an interactive sheet to fill in the flavours of the beer. All beers on the tasting experience are unique which I thought was fantastic. The expert tour guide on the day was fantastic - a young woman who unfortunately had to work on the bank holiday! That didn’t dampen her spirits though, she was very enthusiastic and was clearly very proud to be a part of this fantastic brewery. I would recommend this experience to everyone. It’s a little out of town - towards the airport, but it’s well worth the travelling. Can be accessed by a bus or the metro and then a short walk.

5.00Enjoyed this experience, was something different to do. We went on a Saturday as that was the only day for English tour, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. I don’t like beer but the tasting was worth the money to try 5 different beers! Be aware in quieter season the factory is operating on weekend so when we went we saw the factory but not in action.

4.00Very interesting visit. Visit to the facilities, explanation of the preparation process through a video and also by the guide. Final tasting of five types of beer in a beautiful room. I would only suggest providing a covered and specific parking area for visits as well as a “waiting area” on arrival; one cannot wait outside under the minimal shade of a couple of trees.
