With A Paddle in Paradise, you’ll enjoy one of the most authentic and intimate bioluminescent kayak and paddle board tours in Florida. Unlike large outfitters that pack 25+ people into one group, we keep tours small—around 12 guests, with a 15-person max—offering a peaceful, personalized experience and better views of the glowing water. We are close to Cocoa Beach and Orlando.
Each tour is locally guided by Nate, Jess or Jeff, giving you a laid-back, guest-first vibe where you're treated like a friend, not a number. Paddle under the stars through the Indian River Lagoon, one of the only places in the world where bioluminescent dinoflagellates and comb jellies light up the water.
Suitable for all physical fitness levels

Sadly got cancelled due to bad weather but got a heads up early by the instructor who was very polite and will be receiving a full refund due to the situation. So sad not being able to experience it but will look forward to the opportunity in the future.

Jeff was a great host. Engaging, kind and friendly with a great knowledge of the area. Trip was super relaxing and fun. We got to do the trip at our own pace under the moonlight. What you see vary depending on the season as the biodiversity changes in the estuary, but we were lucky and saw so many cute jellies

My husband and I were celebrating our honeymoon and wanted to experience something different. Our guide Jess, was wonderful and very kind and informative. Not only did she help us feel comfortable and safe, but she was genuinely excited about touring us, which made us excited to participate. The Halloween surprise was great too. 10/10 experience.

Such an amazing experience. Most comfortable kayak I’ve sat in and the guide was awesome. The view is beautiful and it’s very relaxing. The guide provided everything we needed, even water-proof pouches for our phones. It started raining unexpectedly, but it made it 10x better.

The paddleboards/kayaks were very nice. We were unable to see any biolilluminescence, unfortunately. I understand that weather and seasons all play a role, but the guides also know the conditions, as they are out there regularly. If they see that its not great sightings, I think the trips should be canceled or postponed. The cost paid was not worth the trip. We did have a couple in our group that was afraid of gators and lightening and wanted to turn around, and the guide did as they asked and turned around and kept our entire group close to the launch point. That was very disappointing for our group. We did get to see a lot of cone jellies, which I was not expecting at all. They were cool, but there are separate tours for cone jellies and that is not the tour I wanted to attend. I will try again, but Ill aim to book earlier in the season and hope for better results. The guide we had was not super friendly. He was kind of stern for a tour guide and we kept worrying we were gonna get in trouble for something. If I booked with the same company, I'd definitely get a different guide.

WOW 🤩 what an amazing night out on the water!! Jeff at A Paddle In Paradise is hands down the BEST guide ever. He made the whole experience so fun and easy—we were laughing, learning, and totally blown away the entire time. We saw sooo many glowing jellies (seriously magical ✨) and learned so many cool facts along the way. The boats were super stable too, I felt safe and comfortable the whole time which made it that much better. If you’re even thinking about doing a bioluminescent paddle, do yourself a favor and go with Jeff. 10/10 recommend, you won’t regret it!! 🌊💙

Amazing! The guide truly loved what he does. From the facts and information about the jelly fish and the algae to information about Florida. He took his time with the tour and talked to us all individually. He encouraged us to explore on our own and to be as interactive as possible. Would recommend this to anybody!
