So much depends on what's on exhibit and how much you enjoy it. Setting that aside, this museum was fully installed on our visit, so we saw three major exhibits. Their staging of exhibitions and curation are world-class. Their cafe and restaurant on their top floor is spectacular, and can satisfy a range of wants from dining to a coffee. Their prices for admission are fair. Plan for 1.5-2 hours for your visit, excluding time in the cafe or dining, and getting to and from the museum. We'd go back. TIP wine and other drinks are available beginning around 18 at the galleries entrance TIP account for walking to and from Slussen (600-750 m), which is the nearest transit

Grab your glass of champagne (or whatever) and wend your way through this inspiring thought-provoking two floor museum. Then leave time to reflect and enjoy the beautiful views of Stockholm and the delicious food and drink at the restaurant on the top floor. My visit included Corbin Anton’s collection of portraits of musicians and other important figures. Met lovely locals in the bar. Great time.

I always find myself coming back to Fotografiska whenever I’m in Stockholm for work. It’s one of those places that never feels repetitive — the exhibitions rotate often, and there’s always something fresh, bold, and eye-catching. If you’re into modern art and photography, this is absolutely worth your time. The space itself is beautifully curated, with a mix of edgy and thoughtful pieces that spark conversation. It’s a great way to decompress between meetings or get inspired before a client dinner. I’ve even used it as a casual hosting spot — it’s that versatile.

Quality museum throughout, staging, photos, videos, restaurant and bar on the top floor. Photographic exhibitions change periodically. Not to be missed. It is not very easy to reach (15 minutes walk from Slussen stop).

One of the most interesting museums in Stockholm, not to be missed. With renovations underway the road is a bit difficult to reach from the metro, but it is really worth it. The temporary exhibition on Anton Corbijn is exceptional, but also the others really interesting and of an excellent level. Among other things, the building is very beautiful, typically Swedish, and the view from the rooftop restaurant breathtaking.

I have to say I’m utterly disappointed. Made the effort to come here despite it being very out of the way just to see bunch of photo images. I really do not understand the hype. Perhaps it’s only for people who really understand photography and the techniques behind it. I’m so glad this is covered in Stockholm Pass so I don’t really ‘pay’ for the ticket directly. Do check carefully about the exhibition before you make the way there!
