We booked this trip through Viator and are glad we made the right choice with Tripza Sight Seeing. The tour included convenient hotel pick-up and drop-off, which made the whole experience hassle-free. Our day started at 8:40 AM with a pick-up from our hotel. We first headed to Chinatown, where five other participants joined us. From there, we made our way to Ban Laem Train Station—one of the oldest in Thailand. The travel agent specifically chose this station so we could secure seats on the train, rather than boarding at a more crowded stop. The train departed at 10:10 AM and arrived at Maeklong Railway Market around 11:10 AM. Upon arrival, we had a unique opportunity to take photos in front of the train before it departed again at 11:30. We then explored the vibrant wet market and had some free time to wander around before heading to the floating market. After a short 30-minute drive, we arrived at the dock where long-tail boats were waiting. We were quickly fitted with life jackets and began our scenic ride to the floating market. There, we had time to enjoy lunch and explore the riverside shops and stalls at a relaxed pace. We left around 3:00 PM and arrived back at our hotel by 5:00 PM. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. Our guide, James, was informative, attentive, and incredibly resourceful throughout the trip. Highly recommended!
