It's about the people behind the plates who have dedicated their lives to cooking on the street.

Chinatown - Bangkok
Many are unaware of China's centuries-long influence on Thailand that has permeated much of Thai cuisine. From noodles to stir fries, it's time to feast on the history of this culinary marriage. In small groups of up to 8 exclusive guests, our passionate foodie guides take you on a journey around the alleyways of Yaowarat, Bangkok's Chinatown. We don't want to spoil the surprises, but prepare to drool over crispy chive dumplings with nam jim jaew sauce, mop up rich satay with charcoal-grilled chicken, work chopsticks over slow-braised pork, and delve into fragrant steamy bowls of shrimp dumplings and tum yum goong seafood soup, along with a dozen more lip-smackingly good tastings at places you'd struggle to find alone.

The value of this tour cannot be overstated. We tried NINETEEN food items throughout Chinatown on our tour -- all of them delicious. Chai and Pae were friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and kept our group on track, even amidst the crowds. We never had to wait for a table or to be served our next bites, which made the entire experience feel smooth and seamless. And, we got to try less common Thai foods -- no Pad Thai or drunken noodles here -- which was great. Highly recommend this tour!

It was excellent. Helpful when we had a few more of our group join us and increased our tour numbers last minute.

This was a wonderful food tour of Chinatown! No matter what, I definitely recommend a guide to navigate and know what to try. But as far as food tours go, this one completely met expectations. We tried 20 different foods and drinks. Chai was a wonderful guide and Kor did a great job as “runner”-securing tables and food for us before each stop so we just showed up and they were ready for us. Great experience!

What a great way to see Chinatown and all the hidden gems. We have been to Thailand many times and have never experienced the food that was served. The food was varied and so much you could not walk away hungry. We had Jonny as our tour guide and he was great. Overall a great way to spend a night in Bangkok.

Excellent tour. Great introduction on where great food is available, and also how to eat it! (Appropriate addition of condiments, etc.) Our guide Johnny was very informative, engaging and supportive. We deviated some of our favourites after the tour.
