If you’re looking for a true Thailand, elephant experience, knowing that the elephants are treated ethically so your conscience is clear, this is the one for you. I have nothing negative to say about it. The people that work there cared deeply about the elephants and I really didn’t expect to have such an up close informative experience. This is something I will remember for the rest of my life. The only criticism I have is that the van that drove us there and back was a bit old and the air conditioning was not that strong. It wasn’t very comfortable on the ride home.

Great event! The only criticism is the length of the drive which is not 1.5 hours but 2 - 2.5 hours (with little traffic). Other than that it was an incredible experience, interacting with the elephants. Guides were knowledgeable and displayed great affection toward the elephants.

It's was a great experience. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Feeding, walking with and even bathing the elephants was a memory I will never forget. The lunch (pad thai) was delicious. Would recommend!

Remember to take spare clothes, swimming clothes, water shoes or flip flops, sunscreen and bug spray. Bus starts early with pick ups around Bangkok, there is a later one available, but i wanted to do the morning when a little cooler. vehicle was clean and air conditioning was on. A dozen on the bus is an option , staff at the sanctuary are very helpful and give lots of good information. The staff clearly love the elephants and they speak with great affection. You get to hand feed the elephants and learn about them, then you can cool off with them in the water. There are basic cold water showers with soaps and shampoos provided. there is a simple meal available and there plenty of it. Bus ride back to BK , door to door 7-3:30
