4.00Muir Woods are amazing, trees are majestic and the woods in general are serene and tranquil. The tour itself was just okay. The driver was clearly working off of a memorized script. We left late waiting for others to show up. Once at the woods we had 90 minutes to tour and the driver informed us that he would leave anyone behind if they were late, which he did (not us). We had 45 minutes in Sausalito, which isn’t enough time to do much of anything, but the city seemed pleasant. Overall, visit the destinations with someone else.
Great woods - painful bus ride. Not worth the time spent.

3.00The woods tour on your own time was excellent! The 1.5 hours goes by quickly but it is plenty of time to experience most of the main trail. The downside is the long drive to the woods with nonstop, repetitive commentary from the tour guide on a very loud speaker. It was just too much and too loud to the point of being painful. It completely destroyed the great experience from the woods. The stop in Sausalito was also pretty useless. We just wanted to get back to the city. I would not recommend this tour.

5.00Tour guide James was fantastic. The park is amazing. Definitely worth doing if you love nature. It's amazing to see the red wood trees up close.
