• A great day in Oman

  We had a great day with our fabulous guide Mohammed Aljabri. He contacted us via WhatsApp before the day of the tour and arrived 5 minutes earlier to pick us up from our hotel. He was very courteous and polite, and shared a lot of information about Oman, its people, and its culture. We visited a beautiful Wadi and spent some time at the desert until sunset. Mohammed took us to a great place for lunch, and there were plenty of water and snacks throughout the trip. All in all an excellent day in Oman. I highly recommend this tour and praise Mohammed for his great work.

• Lived up to expectations

  If you haven’t been to the dunes, this experience is definitely worth taking (Bedouin house was nice + you can walk up the dunes to see the landscapes). If you have, then this trip won’t add much - very few things are included (eg no dune bashing) and may not be worth the 3H drive from Muscat just for that. Wadi Bani Halid was good, but beware that it is overcrowded during holidays, so timing is key. Overall time spent in car on the day was indeed longer than time spent walking outside, so this is smth also to consider. Otherwise the tour lived up to our expectations, our driver/guide Nasr was very knowledgeable and accommodative.

  We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Oman. The private guides at Sunshine Tours are very knowledgeable and work hard to ensure you experience a wonderful day out. We loved having the combination of seeing two spectacular sights in one day - both very beautiful.

• One day in Muscat
