Our day tour starts very early when we pick you up from your hotel or accomodation and take you to Ollantaytambo train station .upon arrival you will board the train to Aguas Calientes,during the trip you will see many snowy peaks as well as fertile green valleys and agricultural platforms along the way. Once in Aguas Calientes,you will board a bus that will take you to MachuPicchu Fortress.you will have a guided tour for 3 hours,where you will get very important information about this archeological site.you will visit the most important parts of Machupicchu with your guide.You will be amazed by the vastness of this extraordinary place. After the guided tour you will get back to Aguas Calientes in the afternoon.You will have some free time to find a place for lunch and explore this beautiful town of Agua Calientes until you head back to the train station.At Aguas Calientes ,you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo and travel to Cuzco in our private transport.We will drop you off at the door of your hotel or accomodation.the arrival time will be around 9.00pm.
The tour starts by picking you up from your hotel early in the morning (5.00 to 05.30 am approximately) d From the city of Cusco, you will travel to the Ollantaytambo train station for an hour and a half in a car from the company. After that, you will board the tourist train to Machupicchu town (approximately 1.40 minute journey) where our transfer will be waiting for you with the name of the company, then you will board a bus to Machupicchu where your guide will share all the necessary information about this world wonder approximately 2 hours 30 minutes, enough time to take all the necessary photos, then you will board the return bus to Aguas Calientes to take the train back return to Cusco arrival time approximately Cusco 22.00 PM

Make sure you ask for the circuit you want!!

4.00The trip was planned well however we were not aware of which circuit we were getting. In the same group, some people got circuit got circuit 1 and some circuit 2. So make sure you request and confirm the circuit you want. Other than that the trip was well organized and the guide was great. We just didn’t actually get to walk through the ruins.

3.00A van picked us up around 6:00AM; we drove around Cusco for some time to pick up other passengers; the drove about 90 minutes to the train station for a 90 minute ride to the site where a bus would take is to MP. We arrived around 10:30AM, but our ticket to the top was not until 2:30PM. After waiting, we got the bus to the top and then had 2 hours to tour MP. Then the whole trip was reversed back to Cusco arriving about 10:00PM. So total time was 16 hours, but only about 2 in the park. The van ride to the train station was not scenic...the train ride was. The trip home was all in the dark. I think a better plan would to plan for 2 days and stay at one of the hotels near the park. On a positive side, our guide, Roy, was excellet.

5.00Miguel was a great guide and we highly recommend him! His knowledge of Machu Pichu was awesome and very interesting! The tour was very straightforward and we had a private driver both ways from Cusco to the train station. Try to get circuit 2 as well with Machu Pichu.

5.00Was deciding between several different listings, and glad I decided to go with this one! Note that you can’t choose which circuit and you will find out once you are on site at the ticket office. I personally felt that the actual tour could have been shorter and we could have taken an earlier train back, but still was so worth it! Thank you for a great experience!
