The tour was very well organized. (The company runs several different tours each day and so is well practiced.) Our guide was very knowledgeable and took great care of us. We visited St. Emilion in the morning, before many of the shops were open. This was nice because the town was not very crowded and we could take our time seeing the historic sites. Our first stop was at nearby Chateau Chauvin. The tour was very well presented as was the tasting. This is also where we had our picnic, which a nicely arranged menu of meats/cheeses with a warm dish and desert. The weather was great, which added to the wonderful setting. In fact, it was warm for October and the picnic area was in full sun so be prepared that it might be hot if you visit. We then drive for about an hour to reach Medoc and our next chateau (Paveil de Luze). The setting was wonderful and we enjoyed seeing the old barns where the wine is oak-aged. The photo stop at Chateau Margaux was brief, but there's not much to see from the gate. Our last stop, Chateau Dauzac, was the most "upscale", with an Instagram-worthy cellar (and great wines). It was a very full day and we chose to purchase wine at each stop (it's hard to beat the direct pricing). Overall it was a great way to spend the day.

Great small group experience in high end vehicle with excellent driver and tour guide. Good selection of 3 different wineries with time to explore the town of St. Emilion. The lunch provided was delicious (especially with a bottle of wine!). It is definitely a full day (as described).

Everything was amazing! Margaux (our tour guide) was very knowledgeable and friendly, making the day thoroughly enjoyable. We saw 4 different vineyards in the Medoc and Saint Emilion regions and tried the different wines produced. It was just the right amount of tastings to make it worth the money, without being too exhausting. The day was perfectly organised and I learnt so much about winemaking, as well as region specific nuances. Overall, I’m very happy I went with Olala for this experience!
