Small group, knowledgeable guide, great wines. The first winery Le Chatelet, had some very nice wines. The representative was very friendly and enthusiastic about the wines. The second winery was Bernateau where they make organic wines. I am drinking some as I write this. Very reasonable and very good.

Must travel out of Bordeaux about 45 minutes to reach vineyards and wine tastings but our guide told us all about the wines and grapes of the area and a lot more about the grapes. Much to absorb. Absolutely loved the ancient town st Emillion.

It was a wonderful half day visiting the aged city of St. Emilion with its fabulous views and the surrounding wineries. Sofia, our guide, did a great job of describing the various wine regions and wines produced in the surrounding areas of Bordeaux. She was an excellent driver and planned our time wisely.

Great experience for our first visit to vineyards. We had the chance to taste 6 wines (Bordeaux, Merlot, Cabernet franc, St-Émilion and two St-Émilion Grand Cru) from two vineyards, including one organic. We then visited the beautiful medieval village of St-Émilion for an hour, part of which was a guided tour. The guide was very professional, courteous and easily adapted to the linguistic needs of clients (English and French). We highly recommend this excursion!
