Parque Provincial - Mirador Del Cerro Aconcagua
The Aconcagua Provincial Park is a protected area in the Argentine Andes, on the border with Chile. There is the snow-capped Mount Aconcagua, one of the highest in South America. At the entrance to the park you can take a path to the Los Horcones lagoon and the Quebrada del Durazno. Thanks to its altitude, it is home to enormous Andean condors. Nearby, there is the Puente del Inca, which is a natural bridge made of orange stones that crosses the Las Cuevas River. We will do a short trekking to the Mirador Aconcagua which is 3,400 meters high and there is also another long trekking of about 50 minutes that will take us to the end of the La Laguna trail where we will be on a hanging bridge and at the edge of a river in the middle of the mountains (this trekking is optional). Then we will go to have lunch in the caves sector at a restaurant with an old house (not included in the price of the tour).
Laguna del Inca
Between the snowy mountains of the Andes lies the beautiful Laguna del Inca, an emerald-colored body of water located next to the oldest ski center in America and which draws attention for the spectacular landscapes that surround it, the flora and fauna of the area and its interesting cultural value. According to legend, Princess Kora-llé, the most powerful woman in the empire, and the Inca warrior Illi Yupanqui, fell in love and decided to marry on one of the peaks located on the shores of a clear lagoon. During the wedding, the princess fell into the void and died. The warrior, full of sadness, placed Kora-llé's body in the lagoon. When the body reached the depths, the water magically took on an emerald color, the same tone as the princess's eyes. We will also have the following stops along the way: - Chacabuco Battle Monument - Salto El Soldado - Chile - Argentina Border - Portillo Ski Center - Curve to see the Caracoles Route

Guide tried, but English was not good. Driver was reckless. It was raining coming back and drove way too fast for the conditions. Wet coming down the switchbacks and we actually slid at one point. Everyone in the van gasped &/or swore. Driver and guide laughed. Van was beat up. One door was almost impossible to open and windshield wipers didn't work. Thankful to make it back in one piece.

Guide Sergio and driver Rodriguez were very professional and the trip was magnificent. There was a bit of confusion about meals. When we booked, it said meetings were included. But somewhere else said meals were not included. The actual result was that meals were included for us but not for other passengers.

We enjoyed our day very much and our guide Sergio and driver Ricardo were very helpful and friendly and nothing was a problem. The tour took in some fantastic sights, including Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the Americas, the beautiful and stunning landscape in the surrounding Aconcagua Provincial Park, the Inca Bridge and Inca Lagoon/Portillo. We were also able to stop and get a wonderful view of the famous Los Caracoles and see some Alpacas at the beautiful restaurant where we had lunch. A highlight of our holiday and highly recommended!

We had a sunny day so had a great view of Aconcagua, being the main purpose of our trip. Expensive but a good way to see the iconic mountain. Beware, however, there are no toilets at Aconcagua Park! You have to go outside. Make sure you talk to the guide about toilet stops before and after.

Guide Rose was professional and informative, and driver Raphael drove safely. Spectacular view of Aconcagua and Inca Bridge and spectacular drive up the 27 switchbacks. We were glad we did it but expensive. Major problem is lack of toilet at Aconcagua Park; this is not acceptable and although not the fault of the tour company needs to be managed with advice and stops before and after.

We went in a small group with the guide Rocio, who accompanied us to all the planned places. The trekking was (rather) short and is suitable for all audiences. Both the guide and the driver, "of 15." Not cheap, but a unique experience. The pictures taken are spectacular.

Great tour. Challenging for those not used to high altitudes. But it is worth it to see these grandiose natural wonders. The guide is well prepared and organized. Good time management. Interesting visit to the small shops in the area, where you can eat typical and buy some traditional souvenirs. Great!
