  Great chance to see more of Funchal. I didn’t get the shuttle to the viewpoint as I’d been before but we did stop at the lovely village of Lobos. The commentary was not brilliant but did point out some landmarks. Well worth the money for a two hour tour

  I bought a 3 in 1 five day ticket. Unfortunately because of heavy rain on day five I was unable to use my ticket. I sent an email explaining that, because of arthritis I would not feel safe getting on and off the bus. Whilst, I appreciate the ticket is for consecutive days, I had hoped for some understanding and that they would allow me to use the ticket the following day. All I got was an email saying ' the relevant department will get back to you'. No- one did. I even emailed Carrisur, but no one bothered to reply. Terrible way to treat someone. Especially as I use the Yellow Buses every time I come to Madeira.

  We arrived at bus stop 2 at 5pm and just saw a yellow bus speeding past and not stopping. Having looked at the timetable we saw that there was a 5.30pm or 6.15pm bus so we didn't worry. After an hour or so we walked up to bus stop 1 and met Sergio from yellow bus company. He was so helpful and understanding and agreed that the bus timetable was misleading. Unfortunately we had missed our return to Camara de Lobos so got a Bolt back instead. However, Sergio's lovely customer service and resolution was really appreciated - he is a real credit to his company.

  The 5 day ticket makes it easy to get around but if you’re accommodated at HPB Cabo Girao, take the first bus down to Funchal/Camera da Lobos and take one of the last 2 buses back. The small bus that takes you to/from Cabo Girao is always full in the middle of the day. However, Roberto the driver is extremely friendly and helpful

  Purchased on line from Yellow Bus Tours the 3 in 1 / 48hr tour day before we planned to tour.( A couple & late 70’s) First day did all three & second day just two ( excluded the lookout tour). Everything went to plan . All on time / Drivers & ground staff most helpful & friendly. The audio also no problem on all the buses. All very enjoyable and not too busy. 0930 tour on first day & 1530 tour on second day.

  We were really disappointed with Yellow Bus Tours in Funchal. The buses didn’t follow the timetable, and we ended up waiting almost an hour even though we arrived at the stop about 10 minutes before the scheduled time. It felt like a waste of time, and honestly, using Uber or Bolt turned out to be much more reliable - and even cheaper for most of our stay.

  Excellent way to tour around Funchal. The blue line takes you to the Cabo Girão Skywalk which has breathtaking views.

  We did a 48hr ticket. This was a good way to see the area and decide where to spend some time. The commentary was interesting.

  Very good tour, booked ticket online with no issues. Buses were on time and the drivers were very helpful, especially around connecting buses as we did both routes. The info on the headphones was interesting. Definitely a good way to see Funchal and Camara de Lobos. If you're just looking to get somewhere then public transport is cheaper, but for an informative tour, it's good value.

• You need training. Fat, poorly polite and impotent people.

  It begins with the rudeness of the poorly polite bearded employee. Talk like we have an obligation to know. Forgot that only works thanks to local tourism
