What To Expect
Historic Center of Funchal
You can choose to visit Funchal city, learn about its history, visit some of its iconic landmarks and areas, like the XV century Old Town, the Sé Cathedral, its famous “Mercado dos Lavradores” (farmer’s market) or “Fortaleza do Pico”. Your guide/driver will also take throughout the back streets to places that only a true local knows.
Paroquia de Nossa Senhora do Monte
The lush hill side village of Monte at 550 meters above sea level, has lovely gardens, fantastic views and its where the famous “Taboggan Ride” is found.

5.00Our tour guide John took us to all the best spots — from the skywalk at Cabo Girão to Fajã dos Padres with its breathtaking cable car ride, scenic tunnels, sea caves, and the restaurant by the ocean. The views were unforgettable, and the TukTuk made it all extra fun and personal. Highly recommended!

5.00Was a great ride to places all over Funchal and its neighbouring districts and towns. Our guide was really knowledable about everything we were asking and a great guide not only for history, buildings and facilities, but also for the local fauna and flora and even their history and origins. His German was very good what was a big plus for our daughter, and when needed he could fluently switch to perfect English to explain some more details. Would repeat the trip anytime.

She consulted with us about our interests and we planned our tour together So much to see… of course we couldn’t do it all in the limited time but we are very satisfied that we got a good introduction to Madeira and hope to come back one day.

5.00This was the perfect way to see much of Madeira in one day! We had 6 hours by ourselves with Daniela, who was our favorite guide of all time! She was so much fun and made for so many memories while visiting her island!! She will always be our one day family member!
