Channel the legendary artist and architect Antoni Gaudí during this fun, family-friendly mosiac workshop. Over the course of 2 hours, you will learn the mosiac technique "trencadis," which he invented and can be found all over Barcelona's main monuments. You can choose between glass or ceramic to create a unique masterpiece in Gaudís technique such as photo frame, top of a box, elefant and other decoration objects.

What To Expect
You will experience being Gaudí for 2 hours. After a brief presentation of the technique of Antonio Gaudí, el Trencadís, you will learn how to handle the tools and how to create your mosaic artwork in Gaudis mosaic style:" el Trencadis". You can decorate a photo frame, salamander, heart, fish, elephant, cat, dog, seahorse, top of a box, place mats, tray and free design of a square (for example the Sagrada Familia). The bases of the decoration objects are wood. You will work with ceramic tiles, which we offer several colours." If you want to do the workshop with Tiffany Class, the supplement for this material is 20€." ⚠️ You should take into account that the artwork produced by the end of the workshop will have to be grouted by staff. Usually, the artwork can be picked up later on in the afternoon or the next morning if the workshop has taken place in the afternoon. Our MOSAICCOS experience is also sustainable and awarded with the BIOSPHERE certification 2024.

5.00Mosaiccos is a do your own mosaic art shop. We did the 2 hour session which was perfect. Anna, our guide showed us around the shop, we picked our seats and then she explained what we were going to do and how to do it. There are over a dozen ideas to pick from. We picked a Kitty and a Picture frame. Anna was there to help cut difficult pieces and give pointers if you needed them. Anna made this experience truly exceptional and we highly recommend her. IF you come to Barcelona on a cruise ship contact them and see if they have openings in the morning or around noon. IT IS VERY CLOSE TO THE CRUISE PORT. There are plenty of shops around their place so you can pick up your t-shirts and such. 10 out of 10 experience.. Thank you ❤️

4.00It was really fun to create mosaics and our pieces turned out way more beautiful than I expected. I took away one star because no one informed us that once we finished, they needed to grout the tiles and we would need to return the following day to pick them up. It sort of messed up our plans for our last day in Spain and so we would have appreciated a heads up beforehand.
