Pickup was very punctual, right from our Airbnb's door, 5 minutes early. Sameh was a great guide, friendly and knowledgeable. To see everything (Giza entrance, King's Chamber, Grand Egyptian Museum) you'll need about 3000 EGP, which was well worth it,and GEM is only booked online. We took great pictures, the weather was great, learned a lot, the atmosphere was very friendly, and overall had a great time! It's impossible to look at the pyramids and not be moved - you feel the sheer weight of history. Sameh, he's style was very conversational - it was a pleasure to hear everything. More like a friendly discussion with an expert than a lecture. We were a small group (only 2) so we were able to quickly move past bigger, slow groups, and it felt very friendly. We decided to cut the day a bit short as we were hungry, so theres some flexibility with, which is a great plus. One thing to note is that the great pyramid of Giza's interior stairs are very crowded, very warm and humid, and quite abrupt - children are not allowed and I'd advise elderly, claustrophobic or unfit people be careful about attempting them.

We are very happy with our experience with Misk Tours. Alaa was our guide and Ahmed our driver. We were picked up from the airport at 7am and off we went to the Giza plateau. Early morning is the best time to visit, it gets very crowded soon after. We then stopped at a couple of shops and had a nice shawarma lunch at a local restaurant before proceeding to the Grand Egyptian Museum. After the guided tour with Alaa, Ahmed dropped us back at the airport on time. During the day, Alaa always looked after us, responded to all our questions and demonstrated great knowledge of the sites we visited and the artefacts we enjoyed seeing. Ahmed navigated the Cairo traffic with ease and gave us a ton of valuable local insights. He also stopped briefly by the Nile on the way back to the airport, so we could take some wonderful pictures. It was a very friendly experience, and we would not hesitate to book with them again. We highly recommend Alaa and Ahmed to anyone who values a seamless and safe travel experience.

If you are short on time this tour is a great way to see both the GEM and the pyramids in one day. My guide was Mohamed Mohey, he was very knowledgeable and very adaptable to what I wanted or what I didn’t want to do. He also paced things in a way where we could avoid crowds. Highly recommend!
