Then, take a camel ride before driving down the plateau for a visit to the Sphinx.

Pyramids of Giza

Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
The Great Pyramid of Cheops, also known as the Pyramid of Khufu, is the largest and most impressive of the three pyramids on the Giza Plateau. Standing at 146.6 meters (481 feet), it was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years. Built as a tomb for the Pharaoh Khufu, it is a testament to ancient Egyptian engineering and precision. The pyramid originally featured a smooth limestone casing, reflecting sunlight and giving it a brilliant appearance. Inside, it houses the King’s Chamber, containing a sarcophagus, and an intricate network of passages and chambers. Our tour guide, lovely Nada was so well informed about the whole history of Giza (Pyramids, locals essentiall goods) & helped us through out the whole process went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. 5.00Mohamed Mohey was a knowledgeable and punctual guide who made the tour informative and smooth. He shared plenty of historical context and explanations throughout the day, which really helped us understand Cairo and its sites better. Everything was well organized and on time. The only area for improvement would be the lunch/food arrangements, which could have been better. Overall, a solid experience and a guide I would recommend.

She explained the history in a way that was both informative and genuinely fun, making such an iconic site feel engaging rather than overwhelming. The tour was very well organized from start to finish, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. The camel ride was a great added touch and really enhanced the overall experience. Highly recommend Fatima if you want a knowledgeable guide who keeps things interesting and well paced.

5.00The tour was amazing and our guide Amal was wonderful! The Giza pyramids are definitely a bucket list event. Amal speaks excellent English and was very knowledgeable about the history and offered several explanations along with her beliefs regarding the understanding behind construction and spiritual practices of these ancient civilizations. It was a perfect mix of sightseeing and information that enhanced the overall experience. I highly recommend Amal and this tour for any trip to Egypt.

5.00We had a wonderful visit to the pyramids and sphinx with our lovely guide Eino. We actually requested a change to the time of our tour the day before (because we heard that it was best to go nice and early) and the company (and Eino) were very accommodating. We arrived early at the pyramids and had a magnificent time learning all about the history of the site and being shown all around. Our visit inside the Great Pyramid to the burial chamber was an incredible experience! Not for the faint hearted, but well worth doing. We then were taken to see the Sphinx and then had great fun having a camel ride. Seeing the pyramids from the back of a camel is the most wonderful experience. Highly recommended! Eino was a great tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions, making it a relaxing and enjoyable tour. Would highly recommend this company.
