  Okay this is what chat cooked up for us. Should I post We booked this wine tasting through Viator and additionally ordered three bottles of wine, which were paid for in full. Unfortunately, the wine was never delivered to us. After the event, we made multiple attempts to contact the host via email to resolve the issue and request a refund. We received no response whatsoever. We later learned that the wine had been delivered to an entirely incorrect address, yet despite this clear error, the host has still refused to refund us or take responsibility. Mistakes happen, but what is unacceptable is the complete lack of communication and accountability. Paying guests should not be left chasing down missing items with no response or resolution. especially when the error was not on our end. This experience was extremely frustrating and fell well below the level of professionalism expected from a Viator-listed experience. I would strongly caution future guests and hope Viator addresses this issue with the operator.

  Great guide in Pompei. She truly knew what she was talking about. Wine tasting after was very nice but don’t expect much food.

  A fantastic combination of a wonderful pompeii tour and lunch at a vineyard. Therese was a brilliant guide, the pace was perfect and we understood much more about the city as a consequence.   We went with our adult child. Nice to see a small local winery and the setting was great. We met other travellers and really like the bubbly which was unexpected

  Poorly planned with the need to also get to Pompei on your own AND buy the entry tickets on your own. So not only got super expensive but inevitably a few folks didn’t buy the tickets ahead of time.. so much less time to see the ruins to get them sorted. Add to that we had 16 people (not a small group tour) so 2 ladies that had to go to the bathroom delayed us another 15 minutes (REALLY long lines) - could have been avoided if the tour guide let us know ahead of time to use the restroom while checking us in. Lots of missed opportunities like this made the tour not great. Wine and lunch was good, but all in all not worth the expensive day with only a small amount of the ruins we got to see.

  Excellent 2 hour tour of Pompeii with guide, transportation to winery and delicious lunch with wine tasting (only a few tables at winery; not crowded). Fun!

  One word…FRANKIE! This is the guide you want. Despite the pouring down rain, this tour was exactly the way to see Pompeii. Frankie took us on a trip through history. He was fun, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about Pompeii and many more parts of Roman history. He didn’t just show us the ruins, he helped us understand what it was like at that time in history. I would book any tour with Frankie again! We did the wine dinner afterwards and we were so glad we did. It’s a charming little winery family owned at the bottom of Vesuvius. After dark, Vesuvius gave quite a show in the moonlight. Giuseppe and Sophia hosted a great dinner and pairing. Our drivers were incredible. I don’t know how they do it, but we managed it there and back in big vans and not one scratch.

  We had a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about Pompei and was also funny as well as informative. Our driver picked us up on time and he was terrific as well. The wine tour was great - sampled 4 wines and had a lovely lunch at the vineyard. Met some fun people and it was overall a great day! Definitely recommend.

  Daniel, our guide, was great. We had 6 people in our group. He was SO knowledgeable, respectful of the history and attentive to where we were at all times. You could tell his has a wonderful passion for Pompeii. He made sure we fully understood the history. At the end he got us to the correct van to take us to the winery. The winery and lunch was amazing. The views are incredible! The sommelier was charming and certainly knew his wines! The girls who served us the food were lovely! Overall a wonderful day!

  We loved this tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable about Pompei and really gave some great stories and details about uncovering it and the daily life of the people who lived there. Our wine tasting/luncheon was spectacular too! Dont skimp on that.
