Andrea was great, we enjoyed her knowledge about historic events. She kept it interesting by playing a game that taught us about specific Norwegian words.

Our guide never showed up. We were there 10 minutes early and waited a full hour in the cold, called Viator who emailed the local people but got no response. We sure never expected this.

This tour is a great introduction to the city, and it really helps you get your bearings for exploring on your own afterward. Our guide was good—she had a solid understanding of the city's history and conducted the tour to the best of her ability. While she didn’t come across as an expert on the subject, she was thorough and never rushed through any part of the tour. In fact, the tour lasted longer than expected, which was a nice bonus, and she made sure not to cut any corners. Overall, a good experience!

Learned so much from Andrea regarding the origins of Stavanger and its area. Loved the history of Gamle Stavanger. The colorful painted village and places to go for food and overall Stavangers place in Norways history
