  This was a fun experience! If you get the buggy, you will get super mud-splattered. If you do the ATV, it will be a cleaner ride. There are a lot of animals around so the mud may have some animal feces in it. Buy the recommended bandana before you go! It is inexpensive and just feels safer knowing mud won’t get in your mouth! The beach is a short 25. Beware of peddlers everywhere! They are insistent! The trip guides do take care of you and warn you about this too. You have one stop at a shop (not a farm) to try coffee, tea, hot chocolate, mamajuana, and a cigar, if you wish, all included, with the chance to buy more there. The guides hurry you along! We were always last but not left behind. The only disappointment was the cave swim. It was not a swim! It was a descent on wooden stairs, a jump into cool water, a short swim to the side to climb out (a tricky climb out!) one after another quickly. I wanted it to be a 25 minute swim! But it was a tiny cave. We couldn’t have all fit at the same time! Still, I highly recommend this fun excursion! Bring as little as you can so you don’t have to drag it along or get it splattered. They will allow you to store it there for free but it is not locked. Nothing got stolen, however. They will try to sell pictures to you and are constantly taking them. They are actually very good! We bought them after some haggling.

  Avoid this tour! They were over 40 minutes late picking us up from our hotel. Then we got to the tour and the staff was only concerned with selling things. Everything was push to buy some listen to them try and sing. We drove to a beach and got ripped off for four drinks that didn’t contain alcohol. You only get 5 minutes to sit at the beach plus you are walking more than you are driving in the dune buggy. Next stop was a complete waste of time at a “farm” was just to get you to buy more stuff. Then last stop at the water cave was the biggest scam with vendors bugging you non stop and rude when you didn’t buy anything. Then we waited another 30 minutes to leave after the tour ended. Our driver even stopped for gas on our over 90 minute ride back to our hotel.

  Great experience. Highly recommend to bring a water proof backpack, extra clothes to change into, and a bandana. In this excursion get ready to get soaking wet and muddy. I had such a great time with my bf. I would do this again.

  Don’t wear nice stuff, wear a swimsuit for the beach, you will be approached by locals to buy stuff which is a hassle but just say no . I just wanted an excursion where we were not hassled with buying things. The local food hut on the beach had get chicken, the best we had

  It was a great experience! I had a lot of fun! You will be very dirty but you only live once! Why not? My tour guide was amazing.
