Pura Jagatnatha

Jagatnatha Temple is full of Balinese ornament decorating each temple building from the entrance gate to the main temple building and is located at the center of Denpasar City. Apposite this temple, there is a big courtyard with a beautiful tropical garden. There is a high temple building in the center of the temple area that is the main temple which is used to pray to the god by Balinese Hindu. The uniqueness of this temple is not have the Pengemong (the group of people/organization/team who support, keep, and maintain the temple) like other temples in Bali, but only owns a small number of volunteers and people who worship at this temple. Jagatnatha Temple was built with a position facing west towards Mount Agung, which is believed that Mount Agung is the palace of the gods.

Bali Museum is located in the heart of Denpasar City and the places next to Jagatnata Temple. Is objects collections which are kept in the Bali Museum can be classified the prehistoric object collections like the Grave Petrify (sarkopag), the object collections coming from the historical era like: stupika clay containing superstitious formula Ye Te, the bronze statues and ethnography object collections like Keris, Endek Cloth, and religious ceremony equipment. The development of the Bali Museum began with the existence of an initiative how to vitally the heritage of Balinese culture and take care of, preserve, and maintain it. The purpose of building the Bali Museum is to maintain and preserve the history of Balinese culture in the past, it is hoped that the history and discoveries of past relics that tell the history of Bali will not go extinct.
