A very interesting wander around the iconic Northern Quarter of Manchester, sampling delicious food from a number of small independent restaurants, many that are difficult to spot without our excellent guide leading the way. The talk was peppered with interesting facts about the city and the area we were exploring. A great day out!

We had a fantastic tour around Manchester. I grew up not too far away and still learned so much about things I’ve probably seen a few times but have never thought about. The food is fantastic at every stop, everyone was so friendly and Rob is very knowledgeable about not only about the tour but also other food related things that came along the way (no spoilers!) Also recommend doing this any time of year, we did it in November and a bit of light rain didn’t spoil it at all. We did this tour with a local couple who definitely still got a lot out of the tour and were introduced to new gems. Part of what is so good about the tour is knowing the people behind it - their stories make it all taste better. Would not hesitate to do this again, or to recommend it!

Top tour! NL dining club visiting girlfriend in Manchester. Interesting facts and stories from guide Britta in a neighborhood full of markets and warehouses. On the street we started with a pistachio doughnut and then 4 perfect stops in places you would just walk past. Britta takes her time and talks enthusiastically. It was a relaxed and afternoon-filling program.

Brilliant tour, would highly recommended it! We would definitely do another tour. Britta the leader was very knowledgeable. Despite being from Manchester ourselves, we learned so much interesting stuff! We did the northern quarter tour. Food was amazing. We were absolutely stuffed afterwards!

A small and very friendly group. Rob was an ideal guide and has an affable manner. The information was given in a friendly and informal way. The food stops were well-organised and tasty. A person with a declared Gluten intolerance was easily catered for. Strongly recommended.

The Manchester Food Tour was an absolute fantastic experience. From start to finish, it was brilliantly organised, engaging, and full of delicious surprises. Our guide was knowledgeable and passionate, not only about the food but also about Manchester’s history and culture, which gave the whole experience real depth.

Great tour, led by Steph. Good mix of great food, history and conversation. Started with doughnuts from Siop Shop and included Mackie Mayor, Tariff and Dale and more.

Britta was a great guide. She was organised, cheerful and very knowledgeable. She was also very generous with recommendations of things to do and eat around the city, beyond the tour. It was a most enjoyable experience and a great way to see Manchester.

Booked as a surprise present for a friend as wanted to do something a bit different. Had a fantastic day - Britt was a brilliant guide - informative and friendly and made the group feel at ease. Discovered some great independent restaurants and learned so much about the city I never knew - hoping to do the Ancoats tour soon as well. Thanks for a great day! Word of warning though - come hungry!
