This is a wonderful, really detailed and thought-provoking tour. Lonnie is an excellent guide who truly knows his stuff and takes time to really paint a picture of what life would have been liked for enslaved people in Williamsburg. Well worth taking an hour of your time to go along and learn about these incredible people and their history.

Lonnie was a great tour guide. He provided insightful information, and it was obvious he had done some research on the history of Williamsburg. The most interesting facts were around the early emancipators and the risks they took in freeing their slaves in early America.

I cannot rate this tour. When we went to the address where our GPS led us to there was no address. We didn't know where to go from that point. Suggestion: Please put signs out to let tourists know where to meet and park. Thank u. We did reschedule.
