Immerse yourself in Italy's culture with this hands-on cooking class held in a local home and led by an expert Italian home cook. Learn the secrets of the most iconic Como dishes and taste the fruit of your labour for lunch or dinner with local wines included.
You'll have a fully equipped workstation with utensils and ingredients and your local host will reveal the tricks of the trade of 3 authentic Como recipes (starter, fresh pasta and dessert) handed down by generations of mammas and nonnas. After the class, sit down at the table with your Italian family and taste everything you have prepared accompanied by a selection of local wines.
This experience is held by Cesarine, Italy’s oldest network of home cooks and wine experts. Cesarine are passionate and welcoming hosts that open the doors of their own homes to curious travellers for immersive culinary experiences. Every host is reviewed for authentic culinary traditions.

5.00This was an amazing class in a perfect location! Anna was so knowledgeable about the palace and the pasta she taught me how to make! I am allergic to perfumes and fragrances and she went out of her way to help me, including buying a separate soap for me. The food was divine! I don't drink alcohol or coffee and she put together a fabulous tiramisu with a berry sauce instead of coffee. I'm still dreaming about how fun the class was and the delicious food! Thank you!

5.00We had a wonderful experience with Cesarine and Morena as our host! She was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed talking with her while making and enjoying our meal. We had several appetizers and made ravioli and tortellini with pesto and tiramisu. Each course was paired with an apertif or wine with some coffee at the end. This was one of the best experiences we had in Como, and we would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

5.00Intimate, instructional & entertaining. Felt easily at home and engaged in the experience of learning local dishes. Attentive, kind and communicative host; Margherita was great at explaining the creative process and very personable. Warm and welcoming from the beginning. This was just the most amazing experience and really immerses you in the local traditions and culture.

5.00Went with my wife while staying in Como for our honeymoon. Simona picked us up from the middle of Como which was very convenient for us. The food was excellent and very fun to make. Carolina and Simona were super friendly and fun to chat with. We had an amazing time and would recommend this class to anyone!
