*Every seat is a window seat! Actual assignment for Open Seating will be determined at checkin and only after completing a proper weight & balance: The pilot sits on the [Left-Front]. Passenger 1 [Front-Center window seat], Passenger 2 [Front-Right window seat], Passenger 3 [Left-Rear window seat], Passenger 4 [Right-Rear window seat].
The following Weight Restrictions require purchasing (1) additional seat: Single Passengers that exceed 240 lbs. or parties of two (2) with a combined weight that exceed 400 lbs. For parties of 4 the maximum combined weight allowed onboard is 745 lbs.
Checkin 30 minutes prior to flight time.
Camera devices are welcomed but must be tethered.
Minimum 10 years of age.
This is a shared tour up to 4 guests, for private tours select 4 seats upon booking.
No scuba diving within 24 hours of departure.
Cancellation Policy
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

5.00Great experience! Highly recommend trip to see places you can't get to. Got to see many waterfalls! Na pali coast was great! Also got to fly in the volcano as well. Staff was great and professional. Max our pilot was great to fly with!

5.00My husband and I have never gone on a helicopter ride, but new that Kauai would be the place to do it! We have a friend who works on helicopters in California, so after talking to him, we new that we wanted to find a helicopter company that 1) wasn't the cheapest and 2) had pilots who had different types of training, not just in tourism. Both of these, he said, would be critical for safety. We chose Airborne Aviation because they fit this (their pilots have a lot of different experience, even with fire fighting), plus their back seat is a 2-seater so if we were in the back, we wouldn't be stuck in the middle, unable to see anything. We also chose doors off, because why not! After our safety briefing, we noticed that we were paired with another couple and that we would be in the front. I was nervous at first because I was being put in the middle of the front (I weighed the least, so it was for safety balancing, so I would never fight this). However, I feel like I got the best seat on the helicopter! I could see down due to the glass, and I could see easily over my husband and the pilot on both sides! The pilot, Tyler, was funny, knowledgeable, and put us at ease as this was all of our first time. He also took time to make sure everyone saw what we were looking at, not that I needed it. And the views??? My husband and I are STILL trying to process how amazing it was! The canyon, the cliffs, THE CRATER! All of it was just so awe inspiring! You need to do a helicopter tour on Kauai, and you need to use Airborne Aviation for it! Also, you won't be disappointed to get Tyler as your pilot :) One last thing, everyone there was so nice. Like truly nice. We didn't have a tether for our phones so we opted to just not take them, which meant no picture in front of the helicopter. But one of the women who help you easily said "I can take one and text it to you" all without expecting anything in return. A+++++

5.00A great way to see the island in one go, especially the Na Pali coast. Our pilot, Philippe, was did a great job. Only caveat would be for those susceptible to motion sickness. But it’s only an hour, which beats four hours on a boat. Totally worth it.
