Prepare for a thrilling experience with one of the most genuine Swedish traditions, hot and cold, a must while visiting Stockholm in the winter.
This experience is a real treat for your body and soul and a total immersion in the local life in Sweden.
Leave everything behind and step into a portal of peace and wellbeing.
The tranquility and silence of the forest, the beautiful scenery, fresh air and the winter frost will make you feel as you are far away while walking amongst the tall pine trees.
In the forest is a small lake and a hot wooden Sauna.
In the winter the lake is mostly covered by ice and its been a long tradition to enjoy the health benefits of the contrast of the hot and cold that makes you feel alive and energized.
For those who are well familiar with ice-bathing know how this will leave you with a feeling of deep relaxation and refreshment.
And if you dare the challenge to plunge in the ice-cold lake then that will be a high achievement with its own rewards.

Alexandra is an exceptional guide! I have so much gratitude that she shared her time with me on a quiet and meditative hike in the woods just a few miles out of Stockholm. I learned about the local fauna and enjoyed a tea break with a view. A visit to a community sauna and ice plunge was restorative and energizing. I particularly enjoyed a shared meal with Alexandra in a cozy cabin that felt quite distant from the usual tourist spots; precisely the experience I was seeking on this trip to Sweden. Above all, Alexandra is an absolute delight; informative, kind, and passionate. I hope to have an opportunity to do this again.

This trip was absolutely incredible! The hike was breathtaking, with stunning views and the unforgettable experience of drinking fresh spring water. The sauna was the perfect way to relax after, and the ice plunge was an exhilarating challenge! Lunch at the sauna’s restaurant was delicious, rounding off the experience beautifully. Our guide was fantastic—super friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great recommendations. Every moment felt well-planned yet natural, making for an unforgettable adventure. If you love nature, relaxation, and a bit of a thrill, this is a must-do. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

This was one of the most fun things we did in Stockholm. My 3 friends and I did this experience our second day in the city and it was a great, fun way to be immersed in the Swedish culture. Alex is super accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. She picked us up right from our airbnb and shuttled us to everywhere we needed to be. The hike is low impact, we went in the winter and she had spikes for our shoes so we wouln't slip. We got fresh spring water, plunged in the lake nearby, and got a warm delish meal in the lodge. 10/10

I have never in my life had an experience this amazing!! I went it with some expectations but this completely blew my mind/expectations. Whenever I dreamed of taking a winter hike, this is exactly what I wanted. I went in January and I do not regret it! Alexandra made this an experience of a lifetime and I couldn’t have asked for a better one! If I ever come back I will definitely book again! Thank you so much Alexandra!!!!!!!!

Alexandra was an amazing tour guide, today she took us through a beautiful forest where we stood on a dock to enjoy fika while enjoying an incredible lake view. After this she took my parter and I ice bathing, albeit it was cold, the sauna warmed us up and we had a great time. Alexandra treated us to lunch and made us feel like family. She knew a lot about the swedish culture and history and was generously informative throughout. Whether it be for a couple or family I would definitely recommend this trip to those whose first time it is in Sweden. Thank you Alexandra for all!

This was the most wonderful experience. Alexandra is such a calm person and genuinely lovely to spend time with. We had a walk through the forest, taking in the views and enjoying the crunch of the snow underfoot and the amazing fresh air.. a pit stop for Glog and ginger biscuits whilst enjoying a spectacular view and collected water from a natural spring. This was followed by a trip to a local sauna with the opportunity to both ice bath in the lake relax in the sauna. We were lucky enough that the restaurant was offering Julbord on the run up to Christmas, so finished the trip with a lovely meal sampling wonderful tasty fresh locally sourced organic food, even taking dessert in front of the fire. A wonderful experience start to finish.. and I slept so well that night!!

This was such a fun experience! A welcome reprieve after lots of logistical traveling to go out in the woods for a short hike and then enjoy the sauna and cold plunge. Alexandra was a delight to have for a host, with lots of good conversation and explanation on the events unfolding. The excursion was planned out well with a yummy meal provided after the sauna. Front door service as well was very appreciated.

Alexandra provided the quintessential Swedish experience!!! The sauna/icebath combo provides this unexplainable release of all mental and physical tension. Any anxiety I was carrying in my body completely melted away and I simply felt present, away from any problems of the world. We continued the day with a cozy warm soup lunch near a fire in the nearby cabin, then went to a nature walk where she showed me the natural spring with healing spring water- how I wish I could bring gallons of this back home with me! We walked around the lake and sat on a rock with a homemade vegan snack and some tea. We just sat and relaxed and breathed in the fresh air. At one point while we were sitting on the rock in the sun, I thought, “This is the most relaxed I’ve ever been in my entire life.” My trip to Sweden would not have been complete without these experiences and without Alexandra’s wonderful company. She was so kind and shared so much knowledge of the space, and I felt so honored to be there and to be in Mother Nature. This experience has reminded me to be intentional about our gratitude to nature and the critical, fundamental role nature plays in our mental and physical health. Absolutely book this for your time in Sweden :)

You can't make a good business with a bad person,so do travelling. Alexandrea is such a nice person that arranged everything very well. She treated us as friends not visitors, showed us the real nature and experienced something normally only local people can. Perfect hiking routing, wonderful feeling while snow falling, fika on rocks, chilling but joyful icebathing, delicious lunch, more than satisfied.

This was such a brilliant experience and the highlight of our trip to Sweden! Alexandra was a wonderful guide, she picked us up from where we were staying, tailored the whole day to suit us, and had thought of everything. The frozen lake/sauna experience was so exhilarating (I'd definitely recommend braving it!) and the forest walk was absolutely beautiful, from the hike, to the spot by the lake, and the natural spring. The Fika that Alexandra had made to have by the lake was delicious, and so was the lunch we had by the fire in the log cabin, which was also included. Alexandra was so friendly and knowledgeable, she gave us loads of tips for the rest of our trip which all ended up being great recommendations. Thanks for making our visit so special!
