You probably have heard about sliding or jumping at Aling-Aling waterfall. Despite the name, the jump and slide take place in various waterfalls. In Kroya waterfall, you will see this natural sliding path. If you are going to slide or jump, a local guide will show you how. The same person will also guide you to find the waterfalls. After all, reaching the waterfalls can be confusing if you aren’t used to it. Moreover, the local guide knows the exact spot to jump or slide so it is basically for safety reason. The operator will pick you up at 8 AM. After spending times at the waterfalls, you can go to Wanagiri village – the operator will take you back.

What To Expect

The name is Aling-Aling waterfall but there are actually some waterfalls located in the same spot. The waterfall is located close to Kroya waterfall, the main attraction. If you choose this tour package, you will spend around 2 hours to have fun sliding or jumping. The sliding path is around 15 meters in length. If you want to jump, there are different spots with different height of 10 meters, 15 meters, and 20 meters. The last one is the scary one – only the bravest one would do such a leap of faith. Be sure to have a local guide accompany you because it is for your own safety. You will also have to listen to the guide’s guidance before doing the jump and slide

Amazing day trip to Aling Aling water fall! Our driver, YUDI BALI, picked us up from ubud and took us up to Aling Aling. He was very knowledgeable and kind. He gave us lots of tips and facts about Bali and even pulled over to show us monkeys! Once at Aling Aling we jumped from cliffs and went down the natural water slides with our guide Made. YUDI drove us back to our Airbnb in Ubud and made a few stops along the way! Both our driver and our guide were phenomenal.

Excellent day out to Aling Aling waterfalls, which are beautiful. Our guide at the falls spoke very good English and took care over safety, explaining where and when to jump and even took us on a short climb directly under the 14m waterfall and up to the rocks on the other side where we could jump off (only 4m). So good we did it twice (plus loads of other jumps and sliding) although I would not recommend the climb under the falls unless you are relatively strong and good swimmer - but my two teenage sons and I had no problems. Special mention to Nova our driver, who spoke great English, drove very safely and smoothly and gave us lots of good information and facts about the area. Nova was also was very happy to stop at our request at various points for breaks and snacks. Very nice guy! Highly recommended driver and day out! Note - it's about 2 hours driving from Ubud, but beautiful scenery over the mountains and lovely temples along the way.

I highly recommend TOLE as your driver to take you to and from your booked activities. He is very pleasant and considerate. The activity I booked was thru RUKMANABALITOUR. Cliff jumping which was 2 hours from my hotel pick up in Ubud. I am 58 years old and a little slower and he was so patient and kind. He helped me at Ubud post office (cause I can't speak Indonesian). He also gave me some good pointers regarding hiring a scooter. The traffic in Ubud can be challenging. The van was clean and tidy also. I had fun cliff jumping and sliding down the waterfalls too.

The drive is VERY LONG from Nusa Dua. We were told 2 hours, it ended up being 4 hours with all the traffic. Although the waterfall was beautiful it is definitely a hike to get there, sneakers are a plus with flip flops while you're there. There are 3 jumps 5m, 10m, 15m and the waterfall slide. The 5m jump and slide are what I did, while my husband continued on to the 10m and 15m jumps. This was a fun time, but again took a very long time to get there for about less than 2 hours of being there. Our guide was excellent as well, took all of our photos and knew how to use the phone better than we did. Definitely a recommend if staying closer to Aling Aling.

We were traveling with TOLE and the trip to the falls was just fantastic! Since we drove from Ubud, the journey took a little longer. But with TOLE as driver we felt completely safe in the quite hectic Balinese traffic and had a relaxed ride! #bestdriverever We stayed about 2 h at the falls and enjoyed it to the fullest. Upon arrival at the falls, a personal guide will accompany you all the time, giving helpful tips on jumping and sliding and of course taking all kinds of photos. Best morning/noon to the falls because then it is not so crowded. During the trip we talked great with TOLE and learned a lot about Balinese culture. Super interesting. Inquiries about smaller stops are also no problem and are made possible at any time. Conclusion: unforgettable day at the falls, and a fantastic Driver! Thank you TOLE

I organised this as a surprise for my partners birthday who loves jumping off cliffs. We were picked up from our beach apartment in Canggu, the drive was around 2.5hrs to get there, but soooooooo worth it. Such a beautiful location, not many tourists as it is further out so you really had the place to yourself. Our tour guide Tole was very friendly, happy and a great driver. Thanks again for a great day!!
