Our guide Marinos was amazing--entertaining, informative and constantly making sure we were having a good day. We learned so much about Crete: its ancient, more recent, and current history and culture. I didn't know exactly what to expect with this tour when we booked it, but everyone in our family loved it. Visiting the tiny villages of the Lasithi Plateau, olive oil factory, fresh yogurt, honey, and cheese straight from the tiny producer, delicious lunch with a view, and of course, the amazing Knossos Palace ruins. At our request, the tour operator arranged for a licensed guide to walk us through the Palace. The 120E additional cost of the guide was shared by all of the people on small group tour and was well worth it for the additional detailed information about Minoan history and the Palace! We did several shore excursions on our trip and we all felt that Marinos was the best of our many guides! Ask for Marinos!

Our private tour of Crete was an incredible experience from start to finish. We began with a visit to an olive oil factory, followed by a scenic drive through the charming villages of the Lasithi Plateau, where we had the chance to sample delicious local specialties. Lunch was a highlight with a fantastic meal at a beautiful restaurant with expansive views of the valley. In the afternoon, we explored the ancient ruins of the Palace of Knossos and wrapped up our day with a leisurely walk through the historic old town before returning to our cruise. It was a perfect day that gave us a wonderful taste of Crete, and we highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the island.

This tour was amazing! Every aspect of the day was curated to perfection. The tour guide made sure we were fed after learning we did not get to have breakfast, he was very knowledgeable of the island, and showed us the best places. He was on time and the customer service was unmatched. I recommend this company to do your tours if you are in Crete. Contact them directly if you want to see what else the company can offer. I’m sure the can meet and exceed your expectations.
