Outstanding Tour of Crete

5.00Our tour guide, Nikos, showed us all the beautiful sites in Crete but also took us to some off the beaten path places. We ate fresh strawberries, homemade Greek yogurt and cheese, and had an amazing lunch. We visited an olive oil factory and tasted fresh olive oil off the press… unreal!! We saw an ancient oak tree that has stood for over 2000 years, some beautiful windmills in the country side and visited the Palace of Knossos. If you are looking for a real taste of Crete, Nikos and his tour are the best! Highly recommend!

5.00Small group tour in comfortable mini van. Explored local mountain villages where guide and his family grew up. Stopped at local olive farm, goat cheese farm and picked fresh strawberries at a farm. Sweet and delicious.

5.00Mariano was incredible! He treated us like family from beginning to end. He gave us so much history, customized our trip to fit our needs/ wants and gave us homemade honey as a thank you gift. Him and his wife run an exceptional tour and would 10/10 recommend to anyone coming to Crete. The perfect mixture of history, culture, natural beauty, and fun. This was the highlight of our entire trip. We hope to come back to see Mariano again, we felt like he was part of our family!

5.00We were picked up on time by Moreno. We were taken in a very nice air conditioned van to an olive oil factory and shown the process of making olive oil. Moreno was very knowledgeable and informative. We had time to ask questions and allowed to browse the area and shop. We were then taken through many villages and shown areas that I don't think we would have found on our own. We stopped at a villages coffee shop and treated to local coffee and tea. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. It was a lovely glimpse into the lives of the people of Crete. We also had a lovely lunch at a local restaurant where everything was made fresh and it was delicious. After lunch we were given options of what to do and experience. We chose a guided tour of the ancient Minosian Palace. At the end of the day we were delivered back to our resort very happy after a day of learning about and exploring Crete.

5.00We had a full day of learning history, tasting local food, and seeing a unique side of Crete on this tour. Our guide Fabio was friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. Every stop there were locals greeting him and welcoming us. Highly recommend this tour for seeing and learning about Crete and its unique place in the world. Ask for Fabio!!!
