Ben was a great local guide and definitely made the experience special at the reptile park. My two year old loved the day so much and Ben came prepared to also make the hikes enjoyable and easy for him to manage. Could not recommend the convenience of having someone travel with us who was a local and had a car seat available. My son was able to interact up close with small crocodiles, snakes, koalas and kangaroos and loved every minute!

We have been in Australia and New Zealand for three weeks and this was absolutely the best experience we have had. I had to communicate with Ben on several occasions prior to the tour, and he was also quick to respond and accommodating of my requests Ben’s van was first class…comfortable, clean and with big windows (as advertised) to take in all the breathtaking views. He also provided us with umbrellas (we experienced a little rain) and walking sticks. He thought of everything! The koala and kangaroo encounter was over the top. We were able to feed and pet the kangaroos as well as pet the koalas. We never felt rushed and were given plenty of time to take photos. Our tour also included a couple of short hikes, affording us the opportunity to take in some breathtaking views of the countryside. We never felt rushed and Ben’s commentaries were always interesting. The relaxing train ride back to the city was a perfect ending to an amazing day. This is definitely a don’t miss tour!

The reptile center is excellent with ability to have close contact with koalas, kangaroos and some reptiles. The snake venom demonstration was special. The waterfalls hike was great, be advised that it requires a fair amount of steps and walking over slippery and uneven surfaces. Ben was a wonderful tour guide showing several features in the north of Sydney area including a fun lunch at a local pub, a good overlook and huge pelicans at a local park. He knows alot and shares information in an informal way as going along. Really get a sense of the what it would be like to live in the Sydney area. Do be aware that the train trip back to Sydney is not accompanied by the tour guide and is the commuter train. It does pass by scenic areas for the first portion. I did have a problem with the train trip as there was a system issue that stopped the train from progressing about 30 minutes from Sydney. After one hour and the train being able to advance to the next station only I got off and called an Uber to complete my trip back to Sydney.
