Yufuin Onsen
Yufuin is a landmark and a popular hot spring onsen village located about ten kilometers inland from Beppu. The ryokan and hotels of Yufuin are spread out around onsen village Yufuin has a wealth of art museums, cafes and boutiques to offer as well. Another natural landmark of Yufuin besides Mount Yufu is Lake Kinrinko, Lake Kinrinko, a mysterious lake where hot spring water springs from the bottom of the lake and does not freeze even in winter. The Attraction of Tanayu 'Tanayu,' an open-air bath with a superb view, consists of a complex of tubs spreading out in five tiers like terraced rice paddies. It commands a magnificent and an expansive view of Beppu Bay and the night view of the town, as well as the view of Sadamisaki Cape in Shikoku in the distance. 5.00What a treat! With the most spectacular views! This was honestly so relaxing with views over the city of Beppu. Nights are fairly busy but I also went at midday and i was one of 3 people there so just depends what you are looking for. Definitely a must for things to do in Beppu.
