A number of spaces are available for wheelchairs in each theatre at the Sydney Opera House. Wheelchairs are available from the Stage Door for use by patrons free of charge. Wheelchair access is by ramp from the southern entrance of the Concourse. Undercover wheelchair access is available from Stage Door and the Sydney Opera House Car Park. It is essential that you specify any needs when proceeding with your booking.
Dogs or any animals trained to assist people with disabilities are welcome inside all theatres and restaurants.
Please ask staff for assistance with receivers which are available from the Concert Hall and Opera Theatre cloak rooms and in the Drama Theatre, Playhouse and The Studio foyers.

La Boheme Synopsis The inspiration for Moulin Rouge and RENT, La Bohème is the original bohemian love story, set among the fishnets and fairy lights of 1930s Berlin. A poet, a painter, a musician and a philosopher walk into a bar to celebrate a sudden windfall in a lean winter. It’s Christmas Eve, and the poet has just felt the first pangs of great love. When a seamstress knocks on his door searching for candlelight, the pair fall in love faster than she can sing “Yes, they call me Mimì...” Between the ideals of love and art and the cruel realities of cold winters, bitter jealousies and empty pockets, two sets of lovers are trying to find their way. 5.00World class experience at Sydney Opera House; however, we did not understand a word of the opera in Italian/Latin language. About half time, we saw some small screens that showed the English translation, but the small screens were too far away to properly read

5.00This is a relatively short opera with a sweet story. The singers/actors were wonderful. Good price and easy to exchange voucher for the tickets. Subtitles are provided above the stage.
