My partner and I tried the bioluminescent kayaking, a little skeptical at first about whether it was real. It turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our trip! It was just the two of us, our guide, and the captain — a wonderfully personal experience. We started off spotting golden langurs by chance, then visited Monkey Island to see brown langurs and enjoy a beautiful beach walk and swim. After that came a lovely meal at a floating restaurant, followed by kayaking and swimming among the glowing plankton. Photos can’t capture it — the water truly sparkled with light. We’ve never seen anything like it. Our captain and guide were great company throughout. They went out of their way to really show off the bay. Excellent value for money and an unforgettable way to spend an evening!
