Enjoy a 2-hour surf lesson at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast. Choose one of Australia's favorite surf schools who has been teaching people to surf since 1987. You'll be provided with a long sleeve rash shirt in summer and wet suits in winter with a soft beginner surfboard and 2-hours of instruction and fun.

What To Expect
Go Ride a Wave offers 2hour surf lessons every day at Broadbeach at 10am and 2pm. Most of all, we provide a safe, fun, exciting experience that everyone can enjoy. The lessons include the use of a long sleeve rash shirt or wetsuit, a soft beginner surf board and 2 hours of instruction and fun. We meet at our van in the car park beside the Kurrawa Surf Saving Club. There are toilets and also showers nearby so you can wash off the salt and sand after the surf lesson. We can also arrange photos to prove that you were able to stand up, if you would like us to.

5.00We were greeted by Rohan with warm smile and he guided us with things required for comfortable and safe surfing session for first timers like us. In very time efficient way he conducted the session which was not only informative and enlightening but was fun. Rohan explained how ocean beach works explaining cocept of sandbar, wave, rip current and what to do should we get caught in a situation deemed risk. We all in group were constantly being overseen by him and at the end it was all fulfiling expeirence for me and my daughter. I am looking forward to have this experience on our next trip to Gold Coast.

5.00Our instructor, Blake, was fantastic! So patient and encouraging. Really friendly and chatty and so knowledgeable. He knew exactly which waves we could handle and guided us over some pretty big breaks whilst waiting for the smaller waves. We both felt in really safe hands. Our experience was made even better as it was just the two of us on our experience (my daughter and I) so we had extra care and attention.

Rocker up and was met with a very friendly instructor, got fit with wetsuits and was out on the beach in no time, so fun

5.00The coach, Carl is amazing. I can easier got on the board with his help and instructions. Awesome experience. The waves at broadbeach is firm and good for beginners. The wave on the day was a bit messy, Carl still managed to find a spot for me to practice. He literally pulled me to the right spot to start. Amazing!
