Has learning to surf been your dream? It’s a good one to have, and the calm waters of La Jolla Shores is the best spot to learn! Our experienced instructors are eager to share their passion for surfing with beginners and intermediates alike - no experience necessary, all equipment provided.
Our instructors respect each student’s choice regarding his or her level of participation in the lesson, and comfort in the water. You’ll have fun learning how to surf in a safe environment!

Wetsuits are included
All participants get an Everyday California Rash Guard, and surfboard for 90 minute lesson. Guest may keep the equipment for an additional hour after lesson is over to continue surfing.
Lockers are available to store belongs (small items) for $6.00 per locker for the day.

What To Expect
Our experienced instructors will teach you the fundamentals of surfing and ocean safety on land, before heading into the water to catch some waves with your group! Continually voted one of the best spots for beginner and intermediate surfers in San Diego, the calm waters of La Jolla Shores are an ideal place to learn how to surf in a fun, yet safe environment. Throughout the lesson, your instructors will make sure you’re safe and having fun. No experience necessary, all equipment provided. 5.00We had a great time learning to surf with Chris and Mia! Our 5, 8, and 11 year old kids learned to surf for the first time and loved it. Highly recommended, especially because the kids were a little scared at first, but the instructors made it so easy and fun.

5.00Chris and pandora were our guides. This was our first time trying surfing and they were super helpful. They made it easy for us to get up on the boards. Water felt great thanks to the wetsuits after getting used to it. Would highly recommend if you can do this! You also get a free hour rental of a board to use at a later time.

5.00We had the best experience today with the surf lessons! We had the pleasure of meeting Chris, who we now refer to Adventure Chris, and he did such an amazing job. He was so kind, fun, patient and knowledgeable! We really enjoyed our surf lessons with him and Everyday California! They have the best merchandise and super great prices !

3.00We scheduled a surfing lesson for 4 beginners (ages 11-13) One instructor was not capable of handing them. She was a lovely girl but our surfers were floundering out in the waves while she helped one at a time. I would recommend only 2 surfers to an instructor. 2 of our girls bailed out early. If one of the girls fathers hadn’t been out there helping it would have been a disaster.

5.00Easy and fun lessons for my teens. The entire process from check in to finish was great.. The boys learned fast, and were in the water quickly to start surfing. You get another free hour after the leasons to continue, or you could go back another day to redeem.

5.00Chris was my instructor. He was great, from talking me through the process to explaining to me what the best technique. My first time doing this and i got up the first time with his tutelage! He kept giving me tips to enhance the day. It was a awesome experience and I look forward to using his techniques to get back on a board soon.
