We had a blast on our snowshoeing adventure and really enjoyed the solitude of the wilderness. We saw lots of reindeer and fox tracks and incredibly old trees. We are from Minnesota and we know how to winter, but the boots provided with this tour were even better than my own. They were amazing and I bought some for myself when we got home. We went on another trip with a different company and they didn’t have any good gear and people were freezing and had to end the adventure early. Wandering Owl knows what they are doing and prevent any poor gear problems from ruining the trip for anyone. Their vehicle was clean and in great condition and we felt very safe. With another tour company I was afraid their van was going to break down. Our guide was an amazing photographer and we got a whole bunch of professional grade photos to take home as a souvenir. This is the best snowshoe adventure you can get, book it!

It was absolutely amazing. We had the best time - our guide was super fun and attentive. He even fed us with homemade cookies - can’t be more sweet. If you can - try the forest experience!

We did a beautiful snowshoe hike in the forests together with Erwin, a fantastic guide and a super photographer. We were lucky enough to do the tour just me and my girlfriend and that made the experience even more special. In addition Erwin with his energy involved us and explained a lot of interesting things about Finnish nature and culture. This is a really super recommended experience, especially for the driving that made the difference.
