4.00Excellent guide! Was a bit chaotic at the beginning but this was due to rude passengers pushing in. We ended up leaving 15 mins late so experience to get on the bus was stressful! After that all good! As the drop off was a little hidden we appreciated the walk with the guide to the train station as it helped us find it again on our return.

2.00Everything was late - the bus to take us out was a good 30-40 minutes late from showing up, while we stood in a line outside waiting for it. Then the return was also delayed. Our tour leader, though very nice, was impossible to understand with a strong accent. The worst part, though, after getting back almost 2 hours after our scheduled time, was when the driver informed us that he couldn’t deliver us to our cruise ship (despite that being promised on our tickets) because his bus was too big. So we spent yet another hour trying to get from downtown to our cruise ship, not covered by Viator. We were all very unhappy.

3.00This was advertised as a bus transfer to Florence + a market tour with the guide which cost extra. There was no tour! I asked the guide and he knew nothing about it. I followed up with Viator and they asked the tour agent to provide a full refund, when I only requested the amount paid for the tour. It was denied, reassessed and I was told that it was denied a 2nd and final time. Totally poor and misleading business practice!! I was shocked. Beyond that, which can’t really be overlooked, the guide on the bus was quite good, professional and efficient. I inquired about washrooms while waiting for the bus and was directed by a different employee to a coffee shop where something had to be purchased or an access fee paid. Later when I mentioned this to a fellow traveller, she said there were free public washrooms right in the bus station!
