This tour is elaborated for the group 4 pax. Package price includes walking tour in old Bergen 2 hours, Funicular return ride to the observation point at the summit of the city mountain Floien. For every additional guest starting from the 5th it is necessary to pay 1150 NOK extra (for food tasting and Funicular trip).

The main unique feature of this tour - is combination of walking historical tour and local food tasting in one of Bergen restaurants. tasting includes starters, main menue and desserts.

Additional interesting part of this tour is Funicular trip to the top of the city mountain. You will enjoy beautiful landscapes from the top.

What To Expect

This tour is elaborated for people that are interested both in history and local food and cutural traditions. The price is given for 4 guests including guided tour with English-speaking guide 2 hours, return Funicular trip to the summit of local mountain Floien and 1 hour of local food tasting. During walking city tour you will immerse yourself in the historic atmosphere of the medieval Bergen and enjoy the amazing views of the North Sea and the country of islands from the top of the city mountain. - You will see the Bryggen Hanseatic Wharf that had been the medieval center of trade for hundreds of years. - You will come to the walls of Bergenhus Fortress that became the main strongpoint and the royal residence for the Norwegian kings at the end of 11th century. - In the fortress you will find the Haakon Hall and the Rozenkrantz Tower. - From the look-out point of Bergenhus Fortress you will enjoy the views of the old harbour and the chain of islands. - At the end of the tour in one of local restaurants You will taste You will taste local fish soup, brown goat cheese, smoked salmon and Norwegian dessert with tee or coffee.

Beautiful and Serene environment eith nice sea view. Waitresses Dafrosa and Asia were very professional on 2 different occasions we visited. They were very polite with charming smiles. I would love to visit again and again

After months of self-isolating and cancelling my flight to Norway, I was lucky enough to find this virtual tour. Although it is not possible to fly physically to Norway, it is great that you can book a tour with a real guide. My tour provider and I very simply agreed on which app to use to broadcast the tour. So sitting right at home at the appointed hour, I enjoyed a video tour of Bergen - seeing important historical sites, listening to live stories and even asking the guide a few questions. And at the end I virtually walked around the gift shop and bought myself a silver jewel with yellow amber - I will have a fashionable memory of the Vikings :) The purchase was mailed to me, received today and is very pleased!

I have visited Norway just before the start of pandemic Covid-19 spreading. Unfortunaly, I didn' t have during my stay in Norway any walking tours in one of the most popular Norwegian historical cities - Bergen. Suddenly I discovered that one of Bergen tourist agencies suggests virtual online walking tours. It was so nice. International tourism is almost died now. Live online tour was a discovery for me. I was sitting with my smartphone at home enjoying stories of my local guide Ole, who was doing the real tour for me in the center of old Bergen passing with his camera medieval quarters. Tour was shorter than standard real tours. For me 1 hour was enough both for getting historical information and for the shopping at the end of the tour. My trophy became 3 magnets, a cup and 10 cans of blue berry in capsules that help to encrease immune system. Ole sent me them with DHL. My recommendations!
